I agree. I feel sorry for HX and Xiao, it's obvious they love eo but couldn't be together as long as HX is still married to the 4th prince. I just hope Ms.Xie won't mistreat HX in her fit of jealousy. HX is such a darling, I'm afraid the 4th prince might fall in love with her too eventually (based on his explaination to Lu Zhao, he's curious as to why Wei Rao--and everybody--love HX so much)

Not exactly separated, but he was away most of the times because of his work, but he always comes back home. I remember Madam Yu is soo jealous of our couple bcoz although they were away from each other most of the times, they keep producing children 🤭 If I'm not mistaken at the end of the novel, they have 4 children (1 girl, 3 boys).
