The whole way through since we found out he was sick, I kept thinking oh please don't let him die. he is the sweetest. But the story would be much better if he died. Them making the ending ambiguous just made it weak and unsatisfying. The acting was great. Song has awesome range.

He played a cool role in Go Back Couple and his acting was great

I don't think it is Arthur Chens fault. I just watched him in a movie from 2019 My Best Summer and his crying/heartbroken scenes are well acted. might just be a writing or directing issue.

I read ORV and I found it followed along with the story pretty accurately. I knew what was coming up next so it wasn't off track. it was just the beginning of the book that was in the film. I thought it was well done and leaves room for sequels if everyone stops whining about it. my 20 year old son went with me and was not excited about watching a foreign movie and reading subtitles but he loved it and said he wanted to know what happened next. He's never read the book. I did and I also liked it so give it a fair shot. the dokibis were well done I had worried about that part but they were so cute.

I took my 20 yr old son he has never watched any Kdramas or read ORV. He really liked it and said he wanted to see what happened next. I have read ORV and other than the movie not covering the entire book, I thought it was great. the effects were better than I expected actually. I thought they incorporated all of the elements they could and the acting was good. not sure what people are having a hard time with.
