i was looking thru the comments and surprisingly no one mentioned the guest so I'll be that comment. watch the…
Yeah, most comments were made before Guest came out and even then, that drama was quite a niche, now it's getting a lot of traction due to being listed on Netflix. Thanks for your comment! Enjoyed Guest a lot.
As always, thank you for digging out these gems from the past, Cho Na. I would love to read more satirical articles…
Ah Lumichan! I had a good time. Asian dramas came to me at a time when my real world was busy failing me. I think I got my world a bit sorted out now so the surreal one is fading out. I also wish to write again cause it was just so much fun!
Yeah, honestly I was undecided which of Shazz's articles to use for my article cos many of them are hilarious…
Thanks both of you! I think my articles are written at a time I was really into dramas, can't say that about me anymore. But it was honestly a nice way to channel the ridiculous thoughts that would pop up in my brain. But I had a good time, new people took over, and they are doing a fabulous job :D You are one example Chona. But yeah, combined article ideas are nice.
Twinklelie, Se rose, lumi chan...all the old peeps! Nice to see them all up :) That was the time when some of us would hang out for HOURS every day on Skype. Man I was in some deep shit those days, you people saved me.
Love him! Every time I rave on him to a non-Japanese entertainment fan and they say they don't know him, I had to pause and remind them of 'Takeshi's castle'. So far in my life, I haven't found one person who doesn't know that show. Also, quite surprisingly, I just recently found out that he writes as well?! Just randomly came across a book in the library (That in the tiny English section in a local library in Sweden!), called 'Boy'. Collection of a few short stories, nothing particularly amazing, but reflects his style. Also his paintings, goddamn! Very well displayed in Hanabi. What a man!
JW - just be homeless. It’s better than living with people who you know are not normal. It’s obvious you’re…
About Jung Hwa, she had no real way to know, just a hunch that there 'might be' a killer. And serial killers are very rare and usually operates solo, the likelihood of all five residents teaming up is practically negative. Jung Hwa is actually being very smart and using her intuition to prepare herself but the statistics are not on her side. Also, someone pointed out how ridiculous apartment rental system is in Korea with a sky high deposit. Actually, he/she is being generous with 5000. I was once considering a research stay and saw 10000 usd deposit for a 30 sq. m studio and noped tf out.
Just like you, Antique is my favourite movie. It's what makes me a fan of him, Kim Jae Wook. I watched the movie…
Thanks for sharing your experience, it seems quite similar to mine. From experience, doing a job that you love can get very exhausting; the failures are harder to take and the blames are heavier to bear. Still, we're all in it for love, hope that pays off. Good luck!
It's not about the acting which dissapoint me. It's the writing which has a thin substance and plot. There is…
I kinda agree, the writing is a mess. They tried to provide an intro where everybody is connected which makes zero sens this early on the story, we barely know this characters to care for their backstory. At the same time they have a case ongoing which also concerns every single person of the cast. In the end they end up with with a script as interesting as boiling water.
Nice list and even nicer writing! I still can't bring myself to watch the last episode of SFD, Bang Won going full anti is a thought that just breaks my heart. Also Yamada Takayuki plays an anti hero in almost all of his projects, I have a feeling that's his fetish at this point. You should see his work, Dele is a good start.
Is this as cliché as "What's wrong with secretary Kim" or is it actually worth the watching? :D
Short answer: Yes, maybe even more since it's the newer on. Long answer: So far from the two episode, two types of drama watchers will enjoy this. One, diehard fan of the leads and two, diehard fan of the genre. #myopinion
