I'm frustrated with this one. Love the plot, the production, most of the actors and so much about this drama. But what were they thinking with the FMC? Why give her the mental capacity of a preschooler? Every time she's in danger I get excited they are going to kill her off, or maybe she'll hit her head and wake up an adult that's less dumb. I don't know if it's the role or actress that's the problem, or maybe a bit of both, but worried it's not going to improve. :(
Somehow I didn't hear about this one until it dropped. Honestly probably wouldn't have even tried if not for ZLS being a main, as I've watched about 10 too many school-centered, coming of age, C-Dramas and need more to keep me than just a cute main couple and a sugar\candy coated plot line.
But dear Lord, I'm almost40 years old, 6 episodes in and giggling like a school girl every 5 minutes. Every episode is like a shot of serotonin straight into the brain. What is this sorcery?
BL fans keep complaining that Thai BL nowadays is all about NC scenes with zero plot and just tropes. And whenever…
I personally love slow burns, especially since so many BLs are relatively short and they are trying to pack a lot in only a few episodes. My main gripe is with Pat, his acting and facial expressions. I don't think hes terrible, but I fill like hes not on the same level as Jeng. Also, I dont mind age gap, but again Im just not feeling it with this couple. Im feeling more nephew/uncle than potential lovers. I hope for slow burns tho.
Also, NC is definitely not essential for me, but if its not there I at least need good acting & strong chemistry.
Is the annoying child going to be in every freaking episode? Cant the dad be like all the other rich C drama parents that send their child half a world away for schooling LOL.
7 episodes in and not sure what to think. Came for Song Wei Long and yet his character so far is the only one I literally cant stand. LOL. I like the mystery/crime aspect but theres definitely something not clicking so far.
I couldn't find 8 to vote for that I would consider 'the best', only 6. To be honest I feel like besides a handful that I loved, 2022 has not really been a great year for K-Dramas like the last few years.
Wow. This is my first time seeing them ruin a great drama in such a spectacular way in literally the last episode. I didn't even realize that was possible.
I can feel Jun Hui getting more and more annoyed by his fiancee's constant obsession of beating and putting down Qin Shi & Yang Hua. The funny part is I think he genuinely likes her, but Wu Fei is slowly chipping away at their relationship every time she tries to compete with his ex's happy, new relationship.
