She's just started acting, Her first drama was released last year 2020. What do you expect for a beginner? She…
obviously you only paid attention to the parts of my post you wanted to and not the rest. if you want to choose to misunderstand and throw assumptions around because it makes you feel better go right on ahead.
I’m reading so many comments about the leads not having chemistry. . Lol they’re not supposed to, they’re…
I think the people saying the main couple doesn't have chemistry must not be watching the same drama I'm watching. They have a LOT of chemistry. The couple is simply not following the typical KDrama couple standards and progression that people think they have to follow. I think thats why I like this drama so much. It's following the 'what's not supposed to happen in Kdramas' list and I'm loving it.
I can't remember the last time I liked the leading male in a K-Drama as much as I'm enjoying Song Kang's portrayal of Jae Eon. He's such as a breath of fresh air.
K-Drama's are absolutely lovely & I'll never stop watching them completely, but I will admit I get tired of the average Male Lead perfect perfectness. They're hair is perfect, they're rich, they're every move is perfect, and they perfectly sit their leading female character on a perfect stool above the rest of the world. They are all perfect kissers and perfect in bed by miracle because of course they have somehow made it to 30 without ever being a relationship and simply know how to please a female by feelings of love alone. (God forbid our male lead have a happy, healthy and prolific sexual life before he met our leading lady. Bleh, sometimes it gets a bit boring to be honest.
But now, Jae Eon comes along with his bad boy past and bad boys ways makes tons of mistakes and I'm absolutely loving it.
I thought all the haters against Cheng Xiao were full of crap, she's doing great. But then I watched her crying scene at the beginning at 27. . . and I kind of wanted to join the haters, cuz that was some next level TERRIBLE crying LMAO. So my advice to her is, please don't film anymore crying scenes because it only makes us laugh lol. Other than that tho, good job dear.
What an amazing show! Im glad I ignored Avenue X's review and decided to see for myself! And bingewatched 16 episodes…
Honestly I agreed with most of what she said and was also considering dropping it. For me this show didn't start getting interesting till like episode 12 or so.
why do people hate this...its not a 10 but not that bad either
For me, while I don't hate it, I've got a lot of issues with it. Though I like the actress who plays the FL lead, I definitely think they make a mistake choosing her for this part. Also, I feel zero chemistry between the 2 main leads. My other big issue is after watching multiple XianXias, I feel like like I could probably tell you episode by episode the rest of this series. There's always a girl pining away for the ML who turns evil somehow and ruins everything, then gets dealt with, then comes back and ruins more.
I would easily give the CGI a ten all by itself, it's that good. But as for how excited I was to watch this, the overall reality of it is pretty. . . meh.
I really wanted to like this but if the FL is gonna continue to be this level of stupid and immature not even my darling Xu Kai will save this drama for me. Does her character improve anytime soon? I can survive a few episodes but not much more. . .
