I will agree there are definitely some amazing J-dramas out there. Todome No Kiss, Frankenstein No Koi, Kimi Wa Petto, Say I Love You, Drowning Love, Good Morning Call & Sachiiro No One Room to name a few . But it seems more difficult to find the J-drama gems among some of the other Asian dramas. My main issue is how they short they are. Many are 10 episodes or less & I know most people like that, shows where the plot moves along quickly, but it's most definitely not my style. My favorite books were always giant series were every book is 400, 500 pages or even more. That's why I tend to stick to C-Dramas, when I'm lucky I come across good dramas with hour long episodes of 60 or more episodes.

I have found often I will stick to dramas from one place for sometimes months at a time. It's been a while since I've watched a decent J-drama tho.

Besides, where else are you gonna find a nice little romance about a school girl and her kidnapper, or a 100 year old Frankenstein that eats the mushrooms his body produces and the girl obsessed with fungus who falls in love with him? ^_^ Only in Jdrama land!

Title Gank Your Heart Spoiler
I really wanted to like this show, but I'm at episode 4 and having trouble seeing why I should keep going. The character that the FL plays has no likeable qualities whatsoever. She makes her living destroying other people's lives and careers and appears quite happy to do so. I was loving Yibo's character until they meet at the coffee shop, but I feel like he just lost his backbone. Why did he give her back the necklace, but even more so why is he apologizing? She is the one in the wrong here, she needs to be apologizing, but she's blaming him for breaking it? If the necklace was that important she shouldn't have lost or been wearing it in the first place.

The only good thing about the scene was it made me feel a little better that she was obviously so upset. lol.

Edit - He FINALLY calls her out in episode 5! He even made her cry and then made fun of her crying, it was awesome!! Maybe there is hope for her to turn into a halfway decent person yet.

For those of you struggled to start this drama, me too. I barely survived the first 5 episodes and the only reason I persisted was Xu Kai. Episode 6 is where the show starts getting interesting. I'm still not a fan of the FL but she gets a little less annoying around the third way mark into the series.

Hi, maybe you can check 电视剧鹰眼 wechat updates for full informationhttps://mp.weixin.qq.com/s/eUW1D0BTkrYm1sf3Bi5v8AThis…
The award is for 'most potential' tho? Why would the drama already have to be aired if they're not judging it over the finished product but what it could be? It makes sense to me because its not your typical award.

I stan all of these groups but TOO's performance was the most epic. I am worried that they won't make it because…
They pretty much signed onto this knowing they would never win, but it's GREAT publicity for them and a way to get their name out there. I know tons of rookies groups that disbanded after years without getting such a great opportunity to perform on tv like this.

I'm definitely watching this either way, but from this summary it may as well say 'Descendants of the Sun' remake. I'm curious to find out tho.

I don't understand the rating. After watching the trailer I wasn't impressed so I drug my feet for more than two weeks after it aired to start watching. But low and behold it was SO much better than the summary made it sound. Both the leads are doing outstanding jobs and FINALLY someone gave Do Hwan a place to shine. Why is the rating so low? It's such a good drama!

Title Before We Get Married Spoiler
Heck yes! But you won't think it will be until the last 5 minutes!
She left in the sense that she told him she needed to 'work on herself' and find a way to be happy alone before she could be happy with someone else. But asked him to wait for her. So he did, and she became a happier person and then the very end is them being extremely excited to meet each other again at a friends wedding a year later. She says she is ready and asks if they can date, and of course he says yes.

It would have been great I get to watch 7 more espisodes.
Same!! I keep on reading about how it dragged and all I can think of are we sure we are watching the same drama? And only 13 episodes there's no time for anything to drag ???? but I'm used to watching 50 episode Chinese historical so maybe that's why lol

I'm happy that they would eventually be together but the ending lacked something.
Really? I love the ending! I thought it was very well done and didn't leave us asking any questions.

I was so impressed with this drama! I have watched hundreds of Asian dramas but I am almost always disappointed with Taiwanese ones. This show is without a doubt the best Taiwanese drama I've seen.

The chemistry of the main couple is off the charts and the acting, particularly of the main lead, is outstanding. It's my third time seeing Puff play the main lead and my first time saying she did well.

With only 13 episodes it definitely did not have any time to drag. The best part about this drama was the ending. On most Asian dramas I'm either disappointed at the ending, or somehow left with an empty feeling about what I would have preferred to see the last few minutes be about. They definitely did a great job wrapping this show up in a way that fit the character is perfectly.

My only annoyance had to do with a couple of Highly irritating Side characters, such as the 'second lead female'. She definitely was over the top and her absolute refusal to give in was to the point of being unbelievable.

But still there are so many good things about this drama I could overlook a few minor irritations.

I will definitely watch again sometime.

Was really impressed with this. Plot is nothing new but has great casting and I really enjoyed all of the supporting characters as well. It has a super cute bromance in it and the main girl even has a great friendship with a boy who is not the love interest - that's rare to see in any drama. Definitely will watch this one again!
