Tbh I'd pick Hua... if someone called my people filthy every SINGLE DAY I'm throwing hands šŖ
His attitude towards Omega is due to childhood trauma caused by his mother. In fact, they both have childhood trauma caused by their mothers. They just manifested in different ways.
pass. I think itās weird for real couples to āactā in romance dramas. Iām here for the make believe not…
Thatās my point:š a rom-drama actorās job is to sell the illusion of chemistry with their counterpartāitās all about acting. If they only have chemistry with the person theyāre in love with in real life, are they really even a good actor? Maybe romance isnāt the right genre for them.
And then when they say theyāre cutting out their āintimacyā scenes out of respect for their partner, I look at them sideways. What about respect for the craft, the profession? Theyāre literally married to another actor. If they canāt understand that itās make-believe, I donāt know who. Although, it could also be that since these people are dating their coworkers and thatās how they met on setā¦š¤
Idk, like I said, itās weird to me. Whatās even weirder are the fans who want to see real-life couples on screen. š¬
Anyway, there are hundreds of actors who donāt play opposite of their spouse. Thereās more than enough from which to choose.

I donāt watch Yu Long anymore either. Even if they werenāt real couple, 9 dramas with the same leads gets just boring. It becomes like a meme almost. Add in the fact that they are real life couple and itās just weird. plus from an acting standpoint, Itās kind of like a cheap cheat code for āchemistryā.
in fact, I have a whole list of actors not to watch anymoreš¤£this name is going on it. I donāt even waste my time.
Contrast that with Fan Zhixin, he could sell having chemistry with a paint can. Thatās how good he is. Heās a phenomenal actor when it comes to selling in emotion. He makes it believable, even when his female lead isnāt as strong.
So apparently ML and FL are a real couple, so explains the good kiss scenes! My only issue is that it felt uncomfortable…

Iāll probably remove Yu Long from the listā¦too many with the same FL. Especially since they are supposedly in a RL relationship. This just seems weird. Drama for me is escapism. The unspoken contract is none of it is real. To have a real couple repeatedly show up on dramas just read more like a kink than real acting.
Give me the clueless Tsundere with some childhood trauma any day over a manipulative psychopath with an obsession
