I generally don’t watch the high school bl dramas, my feelings due to my age, I enjoy the college and above ages. Regardless, this one was done so well, I throughly enjoyed the story line and the actors well all great.
The problem I found was in the translation, once it’s done they can’t always go back and tweak words that migh be a better fit. There are so many probable other adjectives that might fit, but their time frame expectations may not lend to editing after the fact when knowing more about the script. literal translation without opportunity to edit is the biggest struggle the translation group have.
came back to see the first pairing of Tee and Por; and now I know why I don’t recall their pairing. their characters were a mellow pairing with little drama. sweet storyline, even though I liked them, it want enough to draw me in and search for them in other dramas.
I am glad they did Duang with You. their change up and the story wrote their personalities bigger and I fell in love with this new couple. Thwynare both great actors , but now have the opportunity to be ML instead of support roles.
I realize they can only do so much as actors with their script, but am glad they have the opportunity to switch it up and I loved it. Thanks to the script writers, director and anyone else who gave them an opportunity to challenge a set character from another drama.
This is a mild version of the Thai drama with the same name. depending on you sensibilities and what you “steamy” level can handle will depend which version you prefer.
This is on the mild side except for two episodes with shortened NC scenes. I believe it’s ep 5, 6 and 7.
I don’t know if I am influenced by my level of enjoyment of the sensual and connection of the actors, but I believe the Thai version hits that better than the Japanese version.
This drama story line I believe is affected by the lack of connection I am feeling from the two ML. Sara acts more like friends than a potential boyfriend with Fu. I don’t see or feel the chemistry. I am only on ep 6 so this may influence my view so far. it’s possible to connection grows as the show develops more so will be open to my opinion changing by the end. The budget doesn’t influence my opinion. I rate more on my connection to the show and actors than on the fancy sets. so far I am at. 6 for rating. let’s see if it improves by the end.
To all the people who say they feel bad for the wife..its clear you only watched like 2 episodes. 😂 this woman…
I felt like the wife married him because she would feel needed due to his dependence on her. she wasn’t thrilled when he decided to do the transplant. who wouldn’t be thrilled to have the one they love healthy and be able to live a more normal life.
I understand why some people don’t like it. the concept has potential. but you can only do much with 12 , 15 min episodes. it may have been better if they treated it like a movie so the plot the story may have unfolded smoother and with more depth
re watching this and still love it. the ONLY thing I hate is the music. Sometimes it is so loud you can’t hear the speaker. while it fits perfectly with the scene, lower the volume.
