I think him being uptight was a survival mechanism, rather than his true self. Sometimes, putting on a front for a long time can make you forget the person you actually are. Honestly, I don't see it as a plot hole. Also, I just see it as an extension of his OCD. They kissed without preamble... I totally get you. It's fun to watch something absolutely frivolous sometimes. Not always do I want to be intellectually stimulated. 😉 😂 I love how bonkers the show is. I, for one, am enjoying the heck out of it. Ironic given how I had assumed I would enjoy MDN and cringe at this one prior to their airing.
