umm, well I would say how a person grows up varies even if they are brother and sisters, also, I have not read the novel. And truly I am not defending Kawi for what he has not done for Dokrak, and really I do agree it was weird how he was so focused on Pam and Dokrak instead of even thinking about what had just transpired in front of his eyes. I also think he is just (don't know why) but is just obsessed with Pam, though like no reason is their like you also said that they never had that kind of affection, I guess he just needs to love someone? I totally understand your view point as well but well its just my point of view slightly differs from yours in matters of Kawi cuz that breakdown Kawi had in front of his friends showed that maybe Kawi is hiding his true feelings about all situations, and I respect your point of view as well.

I think that's related to how he grew up, like he grew up in a house where he was placed with all these burdens and duties and tasks, while seeing no real love or feeling a little bit of happiness or love, so, I think his sense of love has become a bit twisted like how his father loves but on condition basis, so Kawi has found his own basis, like if we think about it why did Kawi fell in love with Pam? Even though he had never noticed her before(presumably) we can also think like since Dokrak fell in love with Pam maybe thats why he felt something for Pam??? I am just saying maybe.

Can some help me what happened at the end, it was going fine but I didn't really get the ending part.
from what i think the kath and lin we see in the end.. are in the real world that, lin could come back to earth due to the help of the elder lin and even though kath do get confused sometimes what is real or what is not, bcz having to travel continuously amongst various parallel worlds, but I do want to believe that they become happy in the real world itself and Kath surfaced to the water because of Lin's help
