I think 28 is a pleasure to see but rather still a big number of episodes. 16 sounds reasonable but as you pointed out, there are a lot to uncover so unless they managed to compress those, I feel like 16 is still short. I have a guess that it may be around 16-21 episodes but I read usual number of episodes for lakorn are 10-16 episodes.
Is it just me or Yang’s outfit seems too modern compare to others?
Yang’s wardrobe most of the time definitely looks too modern to me too lol especially his jackets. It’s not helping that his hairstyle has so much volume like some popstar but Idk I may be tripping lol. I would actually go ahead and say that our three male main characters are giving modern vibes, however Yang has that vibe the most. Tian gets a pass because we could see men during that time wearing that and Jiu only looked modern with his hair.
I have zero knowledge of thai language so I had to use a translator to confirm my suspicion :D
I could only recognise very few Thai characters. It’s just that when I attempted to translate 1000 Stars novel, the main character their is also named Tian so I recognised the word right away lol.

Not that I hate the other ost because that one is beautiful as well, but I enjoy listening to this one more just because the vibe of the song lives up to the drama Khun Chai is offering.
Last night’s episode probably has one of my favorite moments of the show. There’s this suspenseful build up of Jiu’s secret that Yang was about to discover. Only for us to find out it’s a just paper of Jiu practicing how to write with Tian’s name 😭😭😭. Worse, Tian’s father saw the paper. That must be totally embarrassing omg 😆. I am so lucky I was able to read Jiu’s handwriting or I would’ve not appreciated this scene earlier lol.

Tbh this is the first time I have seen a lakorn that has a 60 minute runtime that is airing two episodes in a week. Even that four episode a week is mind boggling. In my country, our equivalent to a lakorn airs during weekdays but with only 30 mins runtime.
I’m definitely expecting more complexities, which was already apparent from the first four episodes and I’m so excited. Tho another tbh I feel like it’s about time for them to force our lead gay couple together. That way when all the twists come their way, all of us would be more on the edge lol. I need that kind of adrenaline lmao.

28 episodes are too many for this story. Korean dramas with similar plot (and ofc without the homosexuality) and same runtime would only go as far as 16/17-21 episode.

Episode one is torture I’m telling you lol I don’t mind laugh tracks at all but that episode alone had laugh tracks more than a single season of TBBT loljk but if you grow to enjoy the show the laugh tracks would be bearable and tolerable lol
