Brilliant acting in "Are You Human Too?" and "The Third Charm," a very detailed actor as told by his co-stars. I also find his eyes very expressive. Keep up the great work and I'll look forward to your new project again in 2019! :)
MDL's rating system kept on disappointing me, there are other dramas more terrible and flawed than this and it still manage to land on a 7.5 and above. Take Hwarang for example (I'm using that because this is also a work of one of The Third Charm's writers)
That's why I hated MDL's 10 star rating system. 1 is too far from 10, and others gave 1 easily if they are frustrated in a drama or its ending, putting aside all other aspects. Is 1 even a score? And on some cases, a terribly written and directed drama still manages to land on a score of 7.5 above, that is if one of the leads are popular and has a huge fanbase willing to give a 10 for their oppa or unnie. That's why there are instances where I feel that I have to rate a drama 10 just to pull its ratings up. In Douban, with a 5 star rating sysyem, I find the ratings more accurate. The Third Charm scored at least 7.7 out of 2030 users
Seriously 7.1? This drama wasn't that bad. In fact I find this genuinely refreshing and an eye opener at some instances. This drama is easy to be misunderstood because you'll need to take a closer look to the characters and the messages it want to convey before totally understanding them. What separates Young Jae and Joon Young was their differences. During each other's absense, that's when they started understanding each other, they met everytime they've come to that realization. The ending was left open and that was one of the kind of endings viewers hate but if we'll take a wider look, that's actually The Third Charm, Young Jae and Joon Young finally understand each other, them walking the same paths at the ending represents it. This drama have many symbolisms and if ignored, will cause more misunderstanding of its intention. I find the ending amusing, cause Joon Young ends up being successful in his career (which is Young Jae's dream) and Young Jae ends up working on a local salon with her loved ones (representing how Joon Young originally wanted to live a normal and quiet life.
To the world you may be one robot but to one person you may be the world <3 I'm so happy So bong and human Nam Shin didn't end up together because the writer worked so hard on showing us what does it really mean to love. It means we have to make sacrifices for the things that will make us happy so we will have no regrets. and that we should love not because we expect something in return, we love because we truly care and we want to! The writer is brave enough to deliver us this message by making Nam Shin III and So Bong the end game.
This isn't just about robot x human relationship. the topic relates to those who got judge by society because it's not following their standards. Not all people find happiness in marriage, some find it with the comfort of their pets, expressing their admiration even to the smallest of things and being passionate about their field/hobbies, we don't live to follow other's expectations, we should be brave enough to choose happiness. Superb drama!!!!
the first episode is really good.. much better than the second one. i suggest you wait for a few more in case you are doubting the storyline :) some scenes are really questionable and disturbing but its given since this is a sci fi and a mystery drama..
I like the first episode better than the second one., the second one seems to have some cheesy dialogues lol but I like where the story is going so far, and that reason is enough for me to anticipate the next episode. I really love the concept, creative and unique but a bit disturbing and dark in my opinion but I'm so curious to see where it goes. they even say that diff kinds of love will be discussed in the drama, i'm looking forward to it.
i have so many questions : how did they fly back to korea without making the metal detector go crazy? how can…
Eventually Ro-ra invents something called “bio-ink” and submerses an updated android body in it. Synthetic muscle fibers grow over the metal core
maybe this covers up his inner circuits? i dunno it's hard to make a convincing sci-fi drama considering everything is fiction and has a bit of fantasy.. i just want to focus on the story more, this wouldn't affect the drama much in my opinion.. robot dramas are usually like these lol, it's unrealistically portrayed...
they did it with safety measures don't worry and they discuss it before executing the scene, they are professional and gsy never have any issues with it. gsy is in good terms with both director and skj, she even admired their hardwork. this was filmed last July 2017 and read the latest interviews and articles..
OMG...if this is true, then how did the PD even allow him to hit her so hard :O I feel her pain :/
wait guys don't jump into conclusions. these are just knetz overreacting. dispatch also did dirty by not including the whole story. please read my comment below lol too tired to explain it again
I wanted to watch this drama but that is just unacceptable. I can't believe he would actually hit her. The director…
dear don't jump to articles, they clearly aren't solid, i've watched the press con and i have a friend who attended the product presentation, they said before they execute the scene they did a meeting, all staff and actors, they do it carefully. skj did touch gsy but of course with safety measures. it wasn't anything serious. this was done July 2017 last year and have you seen gsy's latest interviews and articles? she always expressed her admiration to the director, she even included him in the speech in AAA held in november if i'm correct and dedicate the award to him.. also she's in good terms with skj, she mentioned in january that she's disappointed that they haven't got enough time to hang out together outside filming set because of tight schedule. up to the latest press con, have you seen how comfortable are they to each other?
these articles are manipulative, they really left out important parts which causes misunderstandings and antis would go all their way to further exaggerate the rumours so that drama will go downhill......
dispatch really left some important parts which causes a lot of confusion. they stated that the scene was real but they didn't mention that all the actors and staff talked about it before doing it. they are having a hard time executing it and making it appear realistic so they decided to make skj touch gsy's face but of course with safety precautions. if we watch the clip in slow motion, we can see that skj is only touching gsy's head and gsy is already preparing to fall before hand, he might have really touch or say hit her but it wasn't anything serious because this scene was filmed like July last year and we never heard anything serious about it. what gst want to interpret when she say it was on how hard they work on this scene to make is seemed real. gsy always mentions how its positive and energetic in the set and expresses her admiration to skj for his hardwork and respects the pd. i hope people won't jump to conclusions without actually analyzing and verifying the situation, we need solid and concrete evidence first. what dispatch really do was manipulate the public by cutting off some really important parts. i'm honestly disappointed by it. hope KBS will sue those who make the exaggerated rumors. it's a bad impression to the drama.
I absolutely love the pacing. The cinematography and bgm is breathtakingly beautiful plus the acting, you can feel the characters. I hope they can keep up wth the hype. I can't wait for next week's episode a????

Seriously this drama doesn't deserve 7.1
