Ooh, do you have any recommendations for really good fantasy/sci-fi? They're both genres I struggle to get into, lack of imagination I guess :D. I just finished the first book in Phillip Pullman's His Dark Materials series, and I still don't know how I feel about it. I might try the second, but series are always a bit of a commitment for me. Do you prefer standalone novels or series generally?

I get confused if I have like 3 at once. I see you're watching You Who Came From the Stars, how are you finding it? I keep seeing gif sets on tumblr that make it look really good and funny, but the summary puts me off a little. Not a huge fan of supernatural type dramas.

Ooh, high five fellow lady-gay! :D I've only ever seen Park Si Yeon in Coffee House, but I liked her in that. I did follow the stuff about her trial and prison sentence after the drug stuff though. That to me is so, so ridiculous, I don't even know where to start. I guess drug offences are a more serious deal in Korea, but sending someone to jail for TAKING drugs seems crazy to me. I really hope she and the others involved in the same scandal make a comeback to the drama scene once they're out. Definitely watch Mother when you get a chance. Can't promise it won't break your heart, but it's amazing stuff.

Tiffany is such a cutie. We're definitely in the minority of female fans in being more interested in the leading ladies rather than the male eye-candy. I'm gay, so that might have something to do with it :D Right now, I've got Lee Min Jung on the brain because I'm slooowly getting through Smile, You. I keep having to pause to take in just how adorable she is. Haha, so she's definitely my favourite at the moment. How about you? For favourite dramas... I haven't updated my list here in a while and I feel like my tastes have changed. Right now I'm watching J-drama Woman, and I adore that kind of heartbreaking human drama. Have you seen it? I watched Mother by the same screenwriter a long time ago and I loved that so much even though it made me cry buckets. I think Woman is going to do the same.

I promised myself no more silly rom-coms, but Shin Ha Kyun and Lee Min Jung? It would be crazy to not watch this :D

Could be good? There's not much to go on, but the potential is there.

This could be a lot of fun. It does sound a bit like a typical preachy 'teaching high school kids about life' drama, but hopefully the funny bits will counteract that.

I didn't know it was one of those manga series that lasted FOREVER XD In any case, I won't let it put me off the drama series as a whole. I heard that the two Korean cast were dubbed. Did you find that annoying? I'm kind of envisaging myself ending up watching with the sound off because it's so irritating XD

I watched a few more episodes of 9 End 2 Outs last night, and I'm kind of getting into it more, but it still feels excruciatingly slow to reach the point where it starts to get more interesting :/ I've got Fashion King on my to-watch list, just because the cast seemed pretty good more than anything. Though that's not guarantee of a good drama, I know XD Is the plot interesting? The synopsis makes it sound pretty dull.

I'll do that, thanks :D I've heard the ending of the drama isn't good, and I get so annoyed by inconclusive ending, so at least there is a manga to find out how it should have ended :D

How did you find Skip Beat? I'm not familiar with the manga or anime, but I'm a fan of Choi Siwon so I want to watch the drama sometime ^-^
