I would like to clapity clap when Bozo Lucia made a valid point: revealing to Mdm Evil Sr. Stella that Chucky is not her granddaughter may turn her against Chucky, as it was she who drove Mi-So Soup (now her hidden granddaughter) to death. However, I can't do that and call her Smart Lucia for three reasons:
(1) She failed to use the "Kill with a Borrowed Knife" strategy (Thirty-Six Stratagems). If she were willing to marry Chairman Evil, she should be prepared to flirt with Gae-Dong SJ, use him to the max and then dump him. Achieve your goals by whatever means necessary (Machiavelli, “The Prince”,1513)
(2) “We have no eternal allies, and we have no perpetual enemies. (Lord Palmerston,1848). Bozo Lucia may hate Gae-Dong, who was her enemy, but an alliance with him will serve her purpose.
(3) Hello? Report to the police about the ‘missing’ husband, Chairman Evil. If she still needs him, then she has to rescue him. Otherwise, get Gae-Dong to finish him off, and she will inherit his shares. Borrowed Knife and Machiavelli, remember?
Finally, that move Boozo Lucia had made on the rooftop was a ‘geopolitical’ blunder of epic proportions. Having been ‘dumped’, the bitter Gae-Dong went and revealed to Mdm Evil Sr. that he and Bozo Lucia are Chucky's birth parents, thus putting all of them in danger. Of course, Gae-Dong was so blinded by rage that he would cut off his nose to spite his face, even sacrificing his daughter twice.
So in the next episode, Mdm Evil Sr. will train her guns on the evil Min family once again, including Chucky, but this time without the help of Team Bozo Minus 1. It will be a 3-way battle among the Mins, Team Dead Ho-Se and Team Bozo Minus 1. Clap Clap Clap, Soooo exciting! Who will win?
You know the character I hated the most? It is Cha Chi-Bai, Oops, I mean Ki-Beom. He has so much time to rush around, playing Mr Hero, instead of tending to his pokey little laundry shop. They do not have to reveal to her that Chucky is Lucia's biological daughter, unless it is necessary.
I am very disappointed that PD-nim and his scriptwriter did not consider this angle. I understand that they may wish to drag on to 120 episodes and hence only wait till episode 119 for the Great Reveal. However, reveal now and introduce fresh materials. A tragedy would be great, like Mr Gae-Dong SJ dies, killed by Chucky, that would set up great drama. Chucky, after all, would inherit some of his evil genes.
