Maybe is not really about "normalizing" cheating but perhaps showing that it exists everywhere? I don't know. lol I got cheated twice so I know how uncomfortable it can be so I get why this type of narrative might make you and others feel anxious.

I think is really crazy how some people avoid some particular themes because it triggers them (or gives them the creeps as you put it), while others actively look for the same content because it specifically >distresses< them! I remember doing this very thing when I was watching Nevertheless, which was a drama that made me EXTREMELY uncomfortable and that's what made me watch the whole damn thing til the end without EVER considering dropping it. Like, what the hell? 😂

I like reading people's reasons for avoiding a title 'cause it's nice to see different perspectives.

I've binged all the episodes yesterday and the waiting is just unbearable 😩 They are making a great job with the pace of the show

I rewatch it every 2 or so months! I always take a look at ratings and reviews before watching anything just to see where I'm getting myself into but in the end is always worth to watch at least 2 episodes to see how it goes. There are some real gems out there that a lot of people don't like (and that's okay too!).

I take everything I read on MDL with a grain of salt! If I had taken the ratings here too seriously, I would probably have never watched what ended up becoming my favorite drama (One Spring Night) because it had barely an 8.1 score at the time. In the end, your opinion can vary greatly from everyone else's. If it peaks your interest... just go fo it, no questions needed. :)
