Can someone just spoil the ending for me? I've watched until Ep 4 and I really just can't continue anymore
yeah, good call, it sucks. so basically this show is a sorry excuse for cheating. they kiss around episode 6 but they never talk about their romantic feelings prior to that. he never talks to his wife about him meeting saeko either. afterwards, in episode 7, saeko tells naruse that they should stop seeing each other, since she's confused and doesn't know whether she likes him because of yusuke's heart or she likes naruse himself. he says NOTHING. then saeko decides to go away from the city to hawaii, and when naruse finds out, he tries to go to her until he collapses bcs his body is rejecting his heart. he then goes to hawaii a bit later and lies to her that he soon will forget yusuke's memories because his body is getting better, then that was the opposite. but naruse's wife calls saeko to tell her that he's dying so she knows about him lying before even meeting him in hawaii. well, they spend 3 days in hawaii (very boring if you ask me, they danced embarrassingly, ate some ice cream, and played the piano, that was literally it), then naruse goes home to his wife. they never really talk about their feelings or anything, at least not anything plot changing from what i remember. then the last part unfolds, there is a timeskip, doesn't really say how much time, but the main idea is that saeko moved on and her quote to her would be "don't fall in love with the same person next time." so ig she didn't love naruse and only loved yusuke's heart?? anyways, the final final scenes show miki picking up saeko from the station in her ugly ass car and telling her she wants to see her every year. i guess that could be interpreted in the way that saeko now reminds her of naruse who's going to die soon, as he's shown to be very weakened in a wheelchair. everything was incredibly lame imo, i wrote this out of spite for having wasted my time.
wtf was this and why did i stick to it till the very end? give me my time back. idk why netflix advertises this as a romance? it's freaking weird, and annoying. i'll write a review soon bcs i just binged this and i'm mad, but, in the meantime, if you're reading this and wondering whether to watch this, don't, and save your precious time. you'll thank me later. do me a favour and go watch Mr. Plankton instead.
honestly? the child actors did such a good job that the older versions seemed a bit disappointing, especially the FL. i had the same feeling with castaway diva's 1st episode compared to the rest. sometimes i rewatch just that episode, it was that good. i'm curious to see how it unfolds tho.
