in the novel it was emphasized that qin didn't like duang, he just noticed him because of how kind he was, thats why he recognized him at freshy night, but got turned off when duang's first confession was just about his pale skin, pretty face and legs, only when duang followed up mentioning his voice that he gave him a chance, it makes the earlier eps fun to rewatch
I did like the change of them being official before having sex, though there's nothing wrong if they didn't, but making love with confirmed feelings is cute, fits pttp~
looking forward to how they deal with qin's trauma, and ofc their bfs era, but also dreading the fact that there's only 3 eps left, waiting for new eps seems long at the same time the weeks flew by fast

so yes, give me good angst and conflict, because aside from character and cp development, it'll showcase the actors range too

and maybe the teddy is there for a reason, since they already changed tiw's part, because the teddy appeared way too much (and has funny dynamic with duang) just to be random, just like how the sticker wasn't random nor was it revealed early, qin used it at the right time to cheer up sick duang

its cute and fun, at times cringey but in a good way, the cinematography is beautiful, attention to detail, pretty posters, good music with new ost every ep, the actors fit their roles and have great chemistry
the show isn't claiming to be a complex crime thriller or political intrigue drama, its a lighthearted, feel good youth romcom and viewers are enjoying it for what it is
I've seen the bls mentioned above, I finished ABO and RL enjoyed them as one time watch, esp ABO as first full omegaverse (with a main character thats a powerful enigma instead of the usual damsel in distress omega) and if thats MDZS in your dp, liked that in all novel, manhua, donghua and drama
I've read the novels of ABO, MDZS and DWY (NTBBSG) all 3 are different so I set my expectations and standards for their LAs accordingly
DWY is only 6 eps in and I've already rewatched it and currently enjoying it, so while the rating can go down once it settles, it can also stay high if the ending wraps up well (and no mass downvoting) for now its rising because its getting better every ep
there will be another screening for ep 7, so the director was not kidding omg I was expecting steamy scenes in later eps not this early, but I guess shower scene secured? lol
