Title All of Us Are Dead Spoiler
For example On Jo's father's death. That was so stupid. He could easily have left together with them. Cringeworthy…
His goal was to save his daughter.
Going with them after getting bitten will defeat that.

Yep its law/politics esp. with royalties, thats why I said unless fl is the favorite cause that'd mean ml won't visit other courtyards. I too tend to avoid harem dramas unless its not the main focus of the plot.
Thanks for the article~

Agree with most, while at some degree with the others.
1. Only if ml is content with fl and won't take anymore wives. But if fl is addition to the harem, its too much drama, unless she is the favored one.
3. While I agree most 2fls will never get ml's attention, I disagree on bullying. Historical 2fls are experts not just at bullying but disposing, since they are usually of higher status. Just offending them can result to harsh punishments to appease the offended noble and her family. The punishment often extends to fl's family too. At least in modern times there's a limit since the law is much better.
7. Those endings, esp. if it fits the story, are more memorable (trauma or not lol) than the many happily ever afters.
Extra. Yes, esp. when they refer to something and there's deeper meaning behind it. It's poetic and romantic. And add the costumes (and setting) definitely sets the mood.

As someone who enjoys historical dramas, this was a good read. Probably most interesting that I've read here.

Never have I seen so many negative comments on a drama that actually was pretty good. Not saying that its perfect…
None of the mains are disliked (LJW's been cleared of his scandal), most knetz were complaining about the story, they couldn't connect with it, while others compared it to a super popular drama.
It's highest rating was the pilot (6%) and never reached double digit expected for a weekend drama. The drama it replaced achieved double digits and the drama that replaced it already reached double digits by 6th ep.

The drama had the potential to be extremely good and heartbreaking at the same time, but such opportunity was wasted.

The writers wanted me to think ml and fl had a strong love spanning all those years, but nope, its 2fl and 3ml. Their relationship, love and bond throughout the different lifetimes were the best. No wonder their parallel scene (w/ ml) in the fields was voted the best scene in the whole drama.
The best performance was also by the 2ml. He made the drama interesting when it became draggy (should've expected from The Guest writers).
The cinematography was good, but other than that, I wonder where the big budget went. This is my type of genre so I had high hopes, but it did not meet expectations.

Overall, this was not the original and unpredictable story I hope it'd be. It started well, dragged in the middle, with an underwhelming ending.

"but for me"
Exactly. It's different for everyone. Viewers feel/relate/connect to different characters.
He/she didn't say the other deaths were deserved or weren't sad. But the only one that made him/her cry was Joonyoung's.

Title Gen Z
As this drama is about WG and ZLS, who want ZLS to be overshadowed by a popular actor who will be her love interest?…
It's good to see her working with veterans in the industry, esp. this one where their story is the main focus.
I saw the interview of the actor who played LLY's father and his words is just different from younger ones.

I think it's more about the scene's effect, not who or not deserves it.

I felt more emotions with Joonyoung's "Let's go home" and Woojin's "Keep doing archery" than everyone else's deaths combined.

But yeah, SK is on another level.

I want Chanyoung and Yihyun to be in a drama together in the future as the main leads. They look so good together…
I wouldn't mind them in a drama together. I heard they knew each other before AOUAD, hence the playful bickering.
Actually Yihyun seems to have chemistry with the other guys as well, even Insoo (that time with the blindfold game).

I never understand bully's concept in us and Korean dramaswhen I see them I am like " wtf dude chill they are…
Following news in SK where bullying laws and womens rights is sh*t, it's realistic. The public even have specific term for those bullies. The term's image is so bad that when a celebrity gets labeled by it, it'll damage/end their career.

Patriarchy and reputation/saving face. The principal and teachers care about the school's reputation. There could be different reasons why victims don't fight back or report. The bullies could have something on them. And most of the times, its always the victim that gets judged or questioned (your comment) and not the perpetrator. Esp. girls/women, some will hide it like Eunji because they'd be shamed, judged, labeled, not marry well, etc.

And yes the bullies are violent. They've beaten a victim so bad he was bleeding and couldn't walk. There was one where bleeding was internal it resulted to death. Another jumped to death, leaving a suicide note of detailed bullying. Yet those cases are dismissed and bullies are protected, just like the school here did.
Just 3 days ago a student commited suicide after being raped by a senior. And Korean Supreme Court just said its not related.

So yeah, bullying and violence (mishandled, ignored and dismissed) in kdramas/movies is SK's reality. Just like molkas, nth room, burning sun, etc.

Same. Though I'm from a neighboring country, I wasn't into shows like SG because we have lots of that genre here but I unexpectedly enjoyed this one.
And you mentioned PH, its #1 and popular there it has so many parodies online and memes even posted on huge billboards across big cities.

It's not uncommon here in mdl to have the negative review as most upvoted. My recent kdramas here are the same.
I guess others expected tired, hungry and thirsty teenagers who are trying to be emotionally stable to act and think like adults in the span of 3 days. Even the writer avoided using some words as it will make him think from an adult's pov.

Thank goodness I’m not the only person who thought so. I was actually waiting for her to get her revenge. Like…
The teacher one was more of her human cells vs zombie virus fighting because she tried the animal first but it didn't satisfy her so she eventually went for the human. And I'm glad it was the teacher because it was deserved. Though she still threw up after.

But yeah, as someone who gets mad from the real life news/cases in SK about bullying and women in general, I wanted to see her get her revenge. If it can't happen in real world, at least on screen. But I guess the writer wanted to be realistic. Even in the end she (victim) was isolated from the world, while Gwinam (perpetrator) was free to continue hurt others. Damn.

Like many, I too waited for the face off, but based from the science teacher, it made sense. When she went out the school in a bike, it looked like for the first time she was was free. She was never a violent person, revenge was not her goal. Its not what viewers want but what fits the character. Even in the end, she was fine up until she got hungry.

Yeah, its the reason why the virus exist in the first. Its not supposed to be amusing, my take is its supposed to be uncomfortable/evoke emotions and be talked about (just like Sewol references) because its realistic just like SK's bullying laws getting buried/dismissed. Just 2 days ago, a student commited suicide after being raped by a senior. Not everyone gets justice/revenge.

And/or there's always S2.

Yesssss! Loved that Lomon feels the same way. He also mentioned that he is sure suhyeok would be on Namra's side…
It's a good tease. A reunion but not a proper one, or else it might look like a closure/ending.
And it worked too, now people are asking for more of them in S2.
