There is nothing to hate the concubinage part of the drama as not everyone who watches it will take it as a source of entertainment.And this is the reason why even if in the novel the man has concubines , the drama does not.

I would alsolove to read something similar to rebirth of malicious empress of military lineage.I have read return of swallow/shallow i dont remember ,it is quite similar.i have also read the novel of blossom drama and i think i kind of love satisfying faceslapping novels with strong female mc and equally strong male mc in schemes and conspiracies.Political intrigue is also something i look forward to and i am okay with cliches just need good translations.

I think me wanting Zhao lusi as female lead is nothing wrong.She is an actor and i had emphasised earlier about her health .But i think even if she is not casted due to health or her previous drama issues,it is okay for me to still admire her and wanter her to portray this character.I would also love Meng ziyi or other actors like Tian xiwei or lu yuxiao as they can also be very good for this character .Wanting Lusi to portray a character does not mean i want to her or cannot accept other actors.This is my own opinion but you allare like i want to harm Lusi or smthg.You can hold your opinion and I can mine.Resa is not empasizing victimhood.It is just she is clarifying that it is okay for me to hope for something even if it cannot be fulfilled.And i get it that international fans like me do not understand what is happening and what is not but they all do wish the actors well in health and career.I do not want to make you misterpret what i said but as I am not in your country and not aware of the seriousness of the entertainment industry,i am still very attracted to chinese culture ,history and ofc these works .I love reading chinese novels too and that is why i associated this character with Lusi ,nothing more or less.

Actually someone a while ago were commenting that almost lover might not even get air because there might be some beef between Lusi and the director.And although she is ill ,there is no new dramas in her bag to start acting with for later.So I was kind of concerned.I love Lusi and her acting.She always choose a character that I end up relating with and I admire that.And there is so much hatred spreading about Lusi by other fandoms ,I just dont get these wars.

That is so true.I am so pissed with audience these days and the way this drama is updating episodes.How can you make a nexus of arcs into just 30 epi drama?Everything is happening so fast that people think Mingtan’s reaction is not justified.And with 1 and 2 episode updating is pushing their view on Mingtan in abyss.This is hypocritical of people that Mingtan wanting a green flag is selfish.I think Everyone should be selfish enough.Noone stresses on how at first Mingtan did not want to marry Jiang Xu but Jiang Xu,the emperor and the dowager had the power to fix her marriage but not even her father had the liberty to choose for her.I agree Jiang Xu is a good person for her and they make a good couple but how is Ming tan supposed to know something she is not even involved in.She do not know any behind the scene but she needs tobehave as if she is aware something imp is going on.Why?No one is supposed to be that smart enough to figure out without having a hint.Someone called out for her not knowing that her father does not trust her foster father.Bro,she knows that already.But her foster father was there for her idk 5-7 years and her husband is just a new person who she is developing feelings for.She being aware of schemes and conspiracies already makes her smart enough when she is not even supposed to think about politics at all.She is a woman of ancient times and does all what is supposed of her.But she also carries a progressive mindset which contradicts her husband’s plan ,then she is not the one to be at fault.Isn’t Jiang Xu guilty too that he hides every thing?do you reallythink she cannot act and will expose the ongoing shit.Bruh ,she lived alone ,managed herself alone and never even lacked money ,was even earning it by herself.She took care of herself in such a way because no one did.She can act ofc.Jiang xu is a green flag because he always goes to agree his mistake and never leaves her.Mingtan is a green flag too,even after Jiang xu creating so much misunderstandings ,she accepts his apology and never leaves him too.Do you think she needs a man for living?No.She just want an epic love story in her life.That is not wrong.Is it?I want it too.

We just have to ignore it .I have read the novel.Faces of fl and ml is described very well with fl having feminine prettiness but looking handsome in men’s attire and ml being handsome as heaven.In china,most actresses are promoted for the prettiness and cuteness and so masculinity cannot be portrayed on these tender beauties.We just ignore it and enjoy the drama.I have read the novel.It was great and I think The actress will do a great job.She is a great actor.

I have read the book.actuall many backstories have been witheld but every sing action of her is justified.She is a young 16 year old girl married to a general whose name is tainted.She had to marryhim because of royal decree.i am not aware of martial arts ,that does not mean its a flaw.i will need someone who excel in it to stop me from dying.Here,it is the main lead.She has to follow her husband and be coquettish and seductive towards him to produce heirs and even accept concubines because it is the duty of wife.To be honest,there is an explanation for all those points you mentioned in the book:-So,no one except the master of the house is allowed to enter through front gate .And as for 5 years,from the tender age of 11 years she was the lone master.Her stepmother was supposed to take care of her after marriage but she manipulated and schemed so much .she did not look after female lead and tried to birth her own child .Mingtan could have gone to border too.Stepmother couldve stopped at the residence for Atan’s care.And so many schemes after coming back from border.They wrapped the story in drama very nicely but in book everything makes sense.
