On Sungkyunkwan Scandal Oct 19, 2014
I was watching this thinking it would be funny to see Lee Sung Joons (Park Yoo Chun) reaction to our modern time. Then I remembered Rooftop Prince. :D

Not that funny but I'll keep watching it for the moment. There is something that annoys me... What about people's…
Well, I'm sure you heard about the NSA? It really annoys me as well, but I think that scene was not unrealistic. It seems that our governments really do have copies of all of our data.

Finally, it seems, Japan remembered how to make a good drama.
2005? I can only find a japanese version from 2007, that I probably haven't seen until 2010 or so... The ones I liked very much were rather nodame cantabile, kimi ha petto, nobuta wo produce and hana yori dango. I meant the japanese hana kimi version as a negative example. Too much ikemen and not enough focus on the actual story.
Rich man poor woman is waaay better until now, in my opinion :D I'm looking forward to see how it goes on :)

Me? What is the purpose of this comment?

Taiwanese hana kimi version from 2006 was my first taiwanese drama, it's kind of silly and totally over exaggerated but quite fun. The japanese hana kimi is actually one of the dramas I thought about when I made the comment above...

I agree that there were some quite good but unpopular ones recently. However, let me explain what I thought when I made that comment: I started watching Japanese dramas around 2005, 2006. My favourite japanese shows now are still from that time. Everything that came after that couldn't quite match up in my opinion. Plots kept repeating themselves, and especially recently, it seemed to me that the most popular dramas were all centered around good looking guys and a mediocre plot. I don't like that. In my opinion, this drama ( except for its name, maybe :D ) is the first Japanese romance drama since several years that has the potential to become a long time favorite of mine. The company and the character hyuga toru are very refreshing to see and it really makes me want to see the next episode soon. There wasn't a single japanese drama during the last years that made me think like this.

I have now watched the first 8 episodes, and I'm seriously thinking about whether I should stop watching it now. It has been amazing until now!! I love this show. I'm wondering what will happen in the remaining 8 episodes, because I don't see any need for any more drama to happen. Things are already perfect at the end of ep 8. They could have easily resolved the remaining stuff in one or two more episodes, I think.
