very true , I have gone through Korean kings in 1900's and I kid you not it was so hard to rule under Japanese pressure and indulgent of Chinese Imperialism in Joseon empire . i understood then why were koreans so angry when history was bit distorted and when chinnese props , foods were used in cancelled drama Joseon Exorcist .
i saw a bit of Japanese annexation in drama mr. sunshine , and was intrested more,
do u perhaps know any more drams stongly focusing on Chinese Imperialism over Joseon or Japanese annexation in 1910 . or anything related to that ??

I see your on point and I think if if king jeongjo had lived he would have defiantly controlled and guided his son sunjo ( or if CP munyo lived ) to be an effective ruler ..
I still wonder what were Queen Jeongsun ambitions ? what did she wish to achieve ? I have gone very yi-san drama or history texts to ever exist and she was a grey character . she could have thrived by guiding the young yi-gong rightfully and held more power . it was like a chain reaction Grand Queen Dowager Yesun started , almost every king after yi-san had a regent , and they died so early , 20? 25 ? etc and they were so cruel , like in case of King Cheoljong , i pittied him after reading his history

so I was waiting for the last episodes and I decided to learn about Yi-san and his successors!
correct me if I am wrong, basically, all the kings after Yi-san fucked up and the Korean empire perished slowly as instead of solving the crisis, the acting clan's only aim was to dominate their influence in court. and from King Cheoljong there were hardly any direct descendent of the imperial family, they were all distant or relatives sort of .. and why were all queen regents were salty and cruel, refusing to pass power even after the heir to the throne is ready to rule I wonder where all went wrong after reigning of Yi- san. I thought at least after Yi-san's rule at least 4 generations could yield good influence but man it all went down in the drain. also, I wonder how was yi-san's firstborn was in terms of behavior [( i know he small but yet, any context in history? ) since yi-san made sure that history remembers his beloved companion anything about the fruit by only women he ever loved ?], who dies at age of 4, could history be changed if he ruled instead ??

so why did saebom not be affected from scratch ? but her friend did ? and it was shown that she is taking the clinical blood purification -dialysis. So is that why she was unaffected ? as the virus infection was removed early ?and if she has bad / failed kidney then its gonna be problematic for FL if the apocalypse does not end within a month (and if it does not will our leads have ending similar to sweet home couples , the chainsmoker-nurse )Or the one of our leads die in the process ? . anyways looking forward to episode 5

so watched episode 9 and the 3rd FL ? I feel like she is shady ? I mean the way she said that she wishes to be crown princess it was weird ..I hope she supports crown prince(ss) when she knows the truth ...and in novel the crown prince(ss) wife has passionate affair with someone .who was that ? that fragment of story is really missing 0_o and if they aline with novel a bit whose gonna be that man ? body guard ? haven't seen him battling an eye on her or prince Lee Hyun ?maybe now over crown prince(ss) and interested in 3rd FL ..

so I saw something which baffled me ...the released poster on Wikipedia for king's affection made me ponder upon so many thoughts ....if carefully seen lee Dami (C.P) is wearing a ring which was shown in episode 3 or 4 that the ring was bought by lee Hyun ..so this a foreseeing that our leads may not end up together or while during the finale lee Hyun dies while protection our lady and she wears as respect or something.
