A Frustrating Watch with Weak Character Development

This drama had the potential to be a compelling story about resilience and growth, but instead, it falls flat due to weak character development and forced romance. The main character goes through a brutal divorce that strips him of nearly everything, yet instead of a strong redemption arc, the story takes a baffling turn that undermines his journey.

Rather than exploring themes of self-respect and personal growth, the show prioritizes unnecessary drama. The lawyer who once worked against the main character ends up becoming an important part of his life in a way that feels unearned and frustrating. Meanwhile, his ex-wife, who had no problem moving on, suddenly reacts when she realizes he has done the same—adding to the hypocrisy and inconsistency in character motivations.

The relationships lack depth, and instead of delivering a satisfying arc, the story takes a direction that contradicts its own setup. What could have been a powerful story of overcoming betrayal turns into a series of questionable choices that weaken the protagonist’s development.

At best, this is a rage-watch. At worst, it’s just bad writing. If you’re looking for a drama where the main character truly moves on and finds redemption, this one might leave you disappointed.
