In the meantime of searching, sharing and patience is the key. Totally agree with everything. I also re-watched…
Patience really is the key. You have to wait and let the feelings subside before you venture out again. Coffee Prince had me in knots for weeks. I re-watched the "Man or alien kiss" constantly before i could move on.
Love all your ideas!.... Great suggestions - especially the first one: Instead of looking for more of the same…
I've thought about that too. But sometimes it takes me too far down the rabbit hole and i end up googling every detail of everything ever written about that one book and author. I have to distract myself
awesome article and very helpful too! I think the only thing I would add is do something completely non-drama…
YES YES YES. Gaksital. That drama was so good. I actually shared it with my friend and she got into the drama world for a bit, it was that GOOD. I hardly ever re watch, because the dramas stick with me for a while..
YAYYY how i have waited for this stalkers guide. I fell in love with him when i watched City Hall, there was no turning back after that. Great article as usual ParkChohwa
man on High Heels- That title has been stalking me on myasiantv. I even read an in depth and glowing review here on MDL but I still haven't watched it. Sigh I think you may have inched me over the edge. A girl's ghost story was okay too made me wanna hit some people but bearable I love KSE. I will check out the final rec. Thanks
"This drama becomes addictive is its elegantly devouring and graciously caressing cinematography" that line right there...is everything. It's so pretty, so apt just perfect. Valid Love isthe first time I've actively paid attention to the way shots were framed how silence was used how everything had a point in each shot. Many of the scenes were just so visually stunning it reminded of a photoshoot for an indie lifestyle magazine. The story is not particularly attention grabbing but the way they tell it is so different and moving, I have to tune in every week to see where the characters end up.
Punch how do i love thee...let me count the ways: Villains that are human, everyone (except Ha Gyung) is in the moral grey area (or black). This show is thrilling without the usual thriller elements; no car chases, fugitives, or spies...Most of the action takes place in offices while people are sitting and talking in person or over the phone..that speaks to the quality of the writing to keep you glued to the screen during a meal of jajamyeon. ParkChohwa your comment about Kim Rae Won is right on target... the dude is HAMAZING!!! I really had to check MDL several times to see if it was the same guy in "My Little Bride" COMPLETE transformation (I still like that movie though). The writing is brave ,we have a main character you kinda want to hate despite him being terminally ill. This is not something I've ever seen in a K-drama and i I applaud that. The acting is superb even minor characters are doing a great job Ye Rin is adorable and heartbreaking all at the same time, the directing is is awesome, let me stop here this is getting too long.
AHH Punch...you got me, you got me good. Thanks for this article it hit all my sweet spots
I know many will disagree with me, but so far I believe this version is much better than the Japanese one. Rathen…
Yes, yes, yes and Yes to all of the above. And i really liked the J drama but this... This is totally different drama where I'm invested in the contestants and afraid for their safety because the villain seems to be pure evil.
AHH Punch...you got me, you got me good. Thanks for this article it hit all my sweet spots
