Lol whatever helps you sleep at night. I'm just amused that you claim to be a Middle Eastern Muslim & yet seem completely unaware of the general geopolitical views in MENA. If you follow Arabic-language comments on Al Arabiya or Al Jazeera (or even just read opinion polls), you'd see that most people there share veistrat's view on the Iraq War and (even though they aren't fans of the CCP) few would share the fearmongering attitude you have on North Korea and China.
Folks, there are lots of Chinese CCP trolls and keyboard warriors here. All you have to do is check their profile.…
According to his profile, veistrat identifies as a muslim from the Global South and his reviews/comments are pretty much in line with that. Maybe you could try addressing his actual criticism of this show instead of getting yourself triggered to the point of delusion. (Tall order though, I suppose)
Mainland Chinese get offended over Thai dramas, too. That, and they're absolutely rotten to Thai celebs. I'm still…
Chinese fans can be a rowdy bunch, esp. to celebs they're really crazy about. But the Orm incident is mainly the fault of the event organizers (who allowed scalping and went way over the agreed-upon quota for # of fan attendees), which are the China-based Henan Auslanqi Culture Communication Co as well as the Thai-based Totsatis Media company and Channel 3. Many fans in fact discouraged her from overstaying, & most just wanted a refund after the scalping.
Are you joking? Are you living under a rock or you are just a teen :D The movie was great!
Game of Thrones is a bad comparison as it's a different genre and balances out the rape/misogynistic setting and ultraviolence with strong female characters, the latter of which Lust Caution lacks. A better comparison is 50 Shades of Grey or 9 1/2 weeks. Yes, some people are fans of those and some aren't.
It's not a rumour. It's the truth. She WAS banned and they stripped her of all her endorsements. China, a deeply…
Ofc Tony Leung wasn't banned. He is from HK where CAT III films similar to porn are allowed. It has nothing to do with sexism but sexual conservatism as male actors such as Huang Haibo and Wu Xiubo have also been blacklisted for their sex scandals (outside of movies, even male piano star Li Yundi got cancelled for prostitution). Ignorance seems to rule the comments here, I see...
Huh. Everyone does it, but not everyone kills or loves violence...
Indeed, your Majesty. God forbid anyone disagree with you lest they face a diatribe against their anonymous character. Feeling better about your inability to discuss in a civilised manner? I don't need thesaurus skills to type out half the length of your responses, maybe it reflects on your comprehension instead of mine...

It was a simple remark on the double standards of those being fine with or liking fake violence (seen in comments for many entertainment sites) but disliking fake depictions of in this case the more mundane. But yes, let's bow to Thousand Miles, queen of snark, reading comprehension, jokes, & ad-hominems with no point...👌
why the reviews are sucks I have watch while it was airing for me its new concept and LOVE IT
There needs to be more critical reviews on the site in general. It's not fair to single out one show while many other top ones with their own flaws get glowing reviews all around.
Damn, this film has to be one of the greatest Korean thrillers I’ve ever seen, I’d call is more of a psychological-thriller…
Hm, good & evil was pretty clear cut to me. We had the serial killer villain with no redeeming qualities and then the vengeful antihero who behaved irrationally by releasing him each time he 'punished' him.
So good, very satisfying. Recommended if you like movies like John Wick, the Professional, Taken (maybe, I've…
John Wick & the Professional are different, more tongue-in-cheek, B-movie types. The vibe here is more similar to Taken & another SK flick called The Chaser. I found The Chaser much more engaging & original, though.
I don't understand what you're on. Do you expect every drama to starts with a nice male lead and ends the same…
Not a fan of eSports or romance, but I've tried the first 2 episodes to see if it's as bad as you make it out to be. And I gotta say, the characters are probably the best part for me, esp. the female lead lol. Sure, the male lead starts off cold, but at least she doesn't sit down & take it like a doormat. It has a feminist/sexism dynamic that I don't find in some other dramas (& also seems to depict some shallow aspects in eSports/celebrity culture).
It's also hard to take your criticism seriously with your Guts' avatar, heh. Now that was certainly a rude & obnoxious male lead, esp. early into the Berserk series.
