Damn .. this drama took me by surprise .. FL was so sensible , mature and relatable , their romance inspite of it being the same cliched didi -jiejie plot line was beautiful and made me swoon ( and giggle ) cuz boy they really had sizzling chemistry .. the push pull and sizzling sexual tension was just 💯 ..

Have seen so many versions of this story but this one is just on a different level , inspite of the usual vertical drama cheesy tropes that we love to hate they really elevated this to such a gem . She fights her own battles but he’s always there when she needs him . The love , respect , understanding between them made me their biggest cheer leader 🥹 . The minute he saw the rashes on her arm he knew she has eaten sea food , he did not eat seafood for 3 yrs for her, the earrings , proposal during interview … damn that’s real romance for me .. so rare in the usual over the top / melo love stories .. will always go back for a rewatch

Flow - is it just me or the flow of the scenes /tone of the drama is weird and honestly quiet jarring .. we go from deep melancholic scenes to comedy before my brain can process what’s happening.

Side characters - the friend is epitome of what I can’t stand ..cutesy , no brains and frankly weird , pushes her friend to go to a bar to just ogle /stare /point at the boss .
Lady boss starts out of blue lecturing her on how to live her life .. etc

Logic - completely seems to be missing , why open your car window /door to hostile people , strange ‘coincidental’ run ins of ML /FL after 8 yrs from no contact to meeting each other in every possible way , she thinks ML does not recognise her .. like were they not classmates 🙃

Maybe I have not read the novel so not really getting it .. sticking g around purely for the visual couple for now

Surprisingly cute and fresh for a school drama .. fast paced , doesn’t drag misunderstandings and really a comfort drama to watch .. Leads have such good chemistry

what an underrated beautiful gem of a drama... binge watched in one sitting.. like a breath of fresh air in the overly stylised, templated, almost caricature type characters seen in the usual romance dramas which are pushed out like an assembly line .. this made me laugh , cry and go on a beautiful life journey with the leads … meaningful without being preachy, chemistry which felt so real ..definitely goes in my top favourite dramas ..

Inspite of my major beef with costume , production quality , attention to details and some major plot holes (they just walk from a rain forest lush with plants and rivers directly into a desert .. geography/topography lessons anyone 😑 ) the overall drama still managed to hook me in , not a boring moment , love the FL character intelligent /strong /mature

Gosh could they have not given more attention to the costumes , it’s like they raided the back of the costume wardrobe labelled ‘tribal’ and just threw everything on the actors …
FL wears pink/red robe during the workshop inauguration and still wearing same while going hunting for ginseng which has to be many days later ..
they stroll into the mountains looking for ginseng wearing fur and silks .. no equipment /tools/appropriate clothes ? 😩

and lord the CGI specially during the desert scene/wolf chase 😖 .. I have seen better stuff even in mini series which are made on shoestring budget

surprisingly good..no typical over the top character..and inspite of the comedic theme..leads mature and have a sweet relationship

these guys just became my top fav drama couple ,, loved their on screen chemistry …just wish someone can finish subbing 16-20 even if it’s just the main leads part :)

**spoiler alert** ..... after watching "in time with u" and "9 ends"..decided to see this drama..what a let down !!..confusing last episode..she loves him..she loves him not...and then just for the heck of a dramatic ending she leaves him to go in a relationship with no passion..no compatiability..ughh felt such a manipulated ending...big let down...feel like asking a refund for my 12 hrs wasted...ughh...need to watch something nice now to remove the bad taste the drama left...
