First I was hesitant to watch this drama because of Famous leads but I gave it a chance because I liked "my mister " of IU so I thought we'll let see and to my suprise it was really good drama . This is probably the only drama which I think deserve better rating than current rating of 8.

This drama show us the struggle of man and women in 1960 korea when it was a poor country . This show the struggle of a women who wanted to be a writer and a man who was so much in love that he literally swim across the ocean for Her . It show us the consequences of some irrational decision like them running away to Busan and then also show us how one life choices can make or break someone entire life . When I was watching this drama one quote come to my mind " It's better to be happy than Rich " people also say that it's better to Crying the Ferrari than live in a hut but I don't agree with that decision because for me it's better to be with Someone you love in a hut than live a lonely life in a Big Mansion. If she had chose that rich ahole she would have spend her entire life regretting her decision where as now she is not rich but atleast happy and able to give her daughter the life she deserve .

Credit to IU because she really acted well throughout the drama . It's was really something diffrent to watch from usual Kdrama where we see all this luxury item and high building. We see the innosence of a child for her mother and we also get to see the helplessness of a mother .

Yes , one thing I hate about dramas is that they try really hard to make both lead end up together . I liked 2125 for that reason because you have to also look at the situation and demand not just force them together without any reason .

FL was not forced . She had a choice , her share and money Vs ML and she chose Share and now trying of become victim . She can divorce her husband if she wants ML but nope . Now this is going in normal pace and we get to see the story progressed. One thing I like about this drama is that it's treating everyone equal . Usually we see drama where there is a curse or power and then ML or FL were immune to it and that's why they meet but in this drama that's not the case . ML is prone to the same danger as everyone else . His dedication is on another lever . Even after so many incident he didn't give up and didn't get afraid perhaps it's curiosity or perhaps it's love but he should get praise for dedication and patience . It's a bummer because many gave up too early and many rated it too low but now it's getting intresting.
