I mean, I get it. There really wasn't much to 'not understand' without it just being pettiness. Kim did reach out to explain before the debate by calling and texting, Mon just missed it. He could've found a bunch of things to pick at and get mad about but in the end it was all just a misunderstanding. There was really no point in dragging it out.

I have been looking for this comment. "It's a normal human reaction". I think people were forgetting just how little Mon knew of the whole situation.
Literally while watching Mon come up on stage I was like 'boy I don't care if you're my boyfriend I will crush you in this debate and then we're going to have a long talk'. That would've been my reaction if I was in Mon's shoes.
Something that actually showed Mon's strength of character was the fact that after Kim explained what happened Mon understood where he was coming from and quickly assured him that he didn't need to pretend for his sake. That was more mature than most of us would've been. I, for one, would've tried to argue more to prove that I was hurt and not in the wrong. As if that matters. I would've done that subconsciously (unless I caught myself doing it and purposefully chose not to) because that's what humans do.

It wasn't always like an insane amount. Most people were able to afford it in my school but it would still cost some families more than others and that might lead to some delays while they sort out other financial priorities especially if they had more than one kid in the school. This might affect the self esteem of some kids and make it a not so fun experience.
Sports Day is not mandatory, is it not? In my old school, nobody give a shit except for those who are the members…
In some places it is and I think one of the very valid things Mon's team pointed out was the financial burden. Their school seems like a private school and if it's anything like where I'm from you'll be required to pay an amount for sports day. Sometimes a significant amount. That I get.
i am not very happy with bustan and Nick's ending please don't let it end this way please nick was such a great…
I think it's because he was such a great guy that he deserved that ending. If Boston really wants to change then that's going to be a difficult process and Nick deserves better than to invest his energy in a work in progress. And the progress has only just begun. This is not the best time for the two of them to have any sort of relationship.

I got so much cuteness aggression...and actual aggression thanks to Shane's awful parents 😒😒
