it was fine and easy watch. i was really bored by the story by the end but i can understand if people like it overall. i'm just left with the feeling it's one of those that had so much potential to be an iconic romcom. modern monarchy + IU + BWS just sounded too good. anyway all the actors did so well. the writing really let them down.
- i don't know what will happen to him in the end but the puppet emperor is funny, i like his acting. - i don't understand the plot point of general he not explaining things to FCY until after the battle. that annoyed me. - sui yuan qing's character is very interesting to me. he is brave and loyal but also cruel. it makes me think if he had been raised by a family with good morals he could be a good person. the actor does a good job portraying him too though so maybe that's why he is interesting. - shi san niang is also an interesting character to me. i feel like they cast someone with kinda similar features to tian xi wei on purpose to showcase she is the parallel "bad" version of FCY??
so in the original timeline did older ye hai tang finally kill ye yi bo and then herself? is that the assumption? i was kinda confused by all those scenes.
Episodes 7–8: the slow burn between the leads is finally showing now that they’re starting to open up to each…
in the novel, mumu definitely does act a little weird to qingyu at times. i don't know if i'd say betray exactly but there is one time she emotionally manipulates her that kind of sets off a roller coaster of events. overall they stay important friends tho and she is there when qingyu really needs her (and vice versa) so i'd say its a complicated friendship but works out by the end. i'm curious how it will play out in the drama.
i mean its a remake of a lakorn, you kinda know what you're in for and watch like a soap opera. none of this would be healthy or normal in real life. the actors still had good chemistry tho.
And that's it. Uff that was hard to watch. The FL hate makes me really sad. It's almost as if many don't want…
agree a lot. they even said it specifically in the flashback scene and thats how he realized she still loved him . they are both the same. ML lied and hid sooo much starting from when they were teens. i didn't feel bad for him but i guess he cried in the rain more lol so it was easier to be sad for him.
in any other show the ending would have been too chaotic and made no sense but in this one bc the characters stayed true to themselves i loved it. well done everyone.
Ahhh….you guys are reading too much….even after watching episode 14, I’m still pretty confident they are…
i agree 100% the whole show every time HD and YJ seem like they're going to have a big issue they just end up supporting each other and understanding each other even more. i don't think it will change now. the interview scene didn't really come off sad or final to me either. all this misdirection chaos is exactly what the writers wanted tho lol
the cleaner couple finally getting all their stolen riches and then getting the door busted down was so funny. i am never fully satisfied with the ending but i loved all of this 10/10.
the ending was so chaotic i couldnt even keep up with the story but overall i think the actors all did a great job, i would love to see Tan Si actor as a ML next.
i hope coach xiao gets fired by the end even tho im guessing SZY will win and everyone forgives him but he deserves punishment for being such a horrible, selfish coach even just to all the other girls.
i haven't wanted to know to the ending to a drama so badly in a while - so much suspense aah! i also want to give zhang yuxi's acting some props bc i think cheng yi is so good he kind of outshines everyone sometimes but in these last few episodes i was impressed with her and realized that she's playing her character really well too.
