I don't know if y'all noticed but Netflix Korea , TVing and even TVN are literally simping on Beak Yi Jin. They just can't stop posting 2521 content😂
Okay, I think Kdrama writers need to watch 2521 to understand character development before writing scripts, because this is literally the best I have ever seen. All characters are well written. I hope the ending will resonate with the energy.
The main theme of the story is more about family, friendship, hardships and striving for betterment of oneself…
Exactly, I still can't get why some will choose to focus on the controversial side rather than the good side of this drama. Like, there is a lot to learn from it. Besides I thought MDL was for international fans who are more understanding as regards to the age gap, but why is it that i find a lot of complaints here about the age gap than I do from knetz? Even on reddit, the conversation there are much more wholesome than here. Even on twitter it's rarely discussed, but here some still make it an issue. It's understandable to point it out, but it's always brought up here every time
I'm really looking forward to see the adult side of Na heedo. But I also hope they show us more of teenage Yijin 😂. Because he would be soo chaotic, cute and funny. I guess i got to see the childish part of yijin on this episode. And as for the emotional scene between the mother and daughter duo, all I have to say is that both of them needs to understand each other and I'm glad they did. But sincerely, I felt more sorry for Shin Jea Kyung than heedo. Imagine loosing your partner, lover, confidant and husband at an early age, then being a single mother who has to provide for her only daughter in a Man's worlds where things are quite difficult for women to make end's meet? Also, I'm very sure that she can't purposely ignore her husband's burial because she loved him deeply. It might be due to pressure from work. And her being the only breadwinner for Heedo, she has to work her ass off to provide for her. Although I won't justify her attitude towards heedo has a mother because Heedo was also hurt, but I could understand her pain as a wife who became a single mother overnight with much responsibility to take care of her daughter and to provide for her Material needs. In terms of material needs, she definitely did well for Heedo, but emotional need was lacking. And I'm sure the main reason to this was because she herself needed emotional support as well. Hence the need for them to open up to each other, both mother and daughter so that they can support each other. And I hope they'll comfort each other and be there for each other as well.
Omg I am definitely claiming Baek Yi Jin's "no fragile masculinity" energy rn, it's just a scene, but this scene opens to the masculinity stereotyping that needs to be addressed
