I hate Kawi so much.. made me dislike the show which is a bummer cause I liked the concept

I'm glad my vent analysis was able to make someone laugh hahah

so what I learnt this episode is that Sand can stand up for himself... Ray is pouting baby that is more so obsessed with Mew than in love with him. He sees Mew as this one thing that stopped him from going over the brink and he's trying desperately to hold onto the one thing that brought him happiness two years ago that he can't see that he's already, subconsciously found someone else that makes him happy... Sand and Nick are adorable friends who genuinely communicate with one another ( by the trailer... Ik this friendship is going downhill later)... Nick is extremely obsessed with his idea of Boston ( and Boston's dick) that he has this ' I can fix him' mindset lol... Not much of Boston this ep, but fair to say, he's still an ass that causes all the shit shows and is the master manipulator here. I love him just because he gives us all the drama... Mew, I'm starting to think he's actually seriously just an innocent guy that's getting played. Like wtf was that interaction between him and top... It's so weird to get someone to be sober by giving them sex.. Even Boston and Nick have more believable sex chemistry than them, he didn't even seem to enjoy whatever Top gave him lol. But all I can say is Mew is falling for this fake version of Top because Top is not at all what he seems. Top is a contestant for biggest red flag in this show ( duh Boston is the competition)... Top basically cheats, when given the chance to confess, he chooses not to, he suddenly does drugs which is a thing he conveniently left out before, he steals other people's partners... And then this big bitch baby has the guts to get mad at Mew for kissing his friend once,two years ago ( before Mew and Top met) and sulks over it... Bitch less than 24 hours ago u were shaking a car with this man's 'friend', you have no right to be mad over a kiss that didn't even escalate... God this man makes me so infuriated.. That is all for this episodes analysis lol

I am so proud it's an 8.6 now 😭... here's to hoping it goes up to an 8.7 pretty soon hehehe

oh I'm also going to miss all the people I've commented with and met on here, it's going to be really hard for me to let this show go

being honest... I think tteotm is one of the worst xianxia I've watched... Actors are wonderful and did all the work for the show but even the pretty cgi and good chemistry couldn't help the horrifying display of a bad script hahah... Maybe it's just because overwhelming angst is not for me ( I can deal with angst if it's a suitable amount) or because they kept using the same misunderstanding trope over and over again... but I for one hated that show to the very bone. To me, this is a million times better 😂 but to each their own opinion ig, just can't fathom how that show has such great reviews

mmm true we've only seen his memories but Yanhui has been through a lot too so I'd say at least they've suffered the same...yeah that's my thoughts exactly. I preferred him as someone that pushed the main couple to communicate... And I fully agree on your point that anyone that saved him would've been his light because his fear leads him to hold onto that person. I don't think his character is necessary whatsoever. He literally lied to her the entire time about the ghost eulogy... And yeah I honestly see him as super selfish. He just wants Yanhui for himself, trying to isolate her from everyone... It's frustrating to watch

That's the stark difference between him and tianyao... Tianyao sees her and is ready to drop anything to give her that happiness. He wants to ensure what she gets is what makes her happy and he does not want anything in return... It's pure love for him and I don't know if he's noticed yet how in love he actually is ... That's why I really enjoy tianyao as a ml. He knows he's supposed to be a hero but he'd sacrifice the entire world to protect Yanhui ( based on the allusion)... He's such a compassionate person and just seeing him do everything for her sake eventhough he keeps getting blamed by Yanhui really shows the depth of his love... How it's not just superficial or on the surface

I don't mind bxs actually... yeah smts the shit he does frustrates me, like when he punched himself with Tianyao's fist and said it was done on purpose or when he decided to put more dark aura into Yanhui so she would take the hps. Also when he decided to start trauma dumping on Yanhui and telling her she doesn't understand what he went through when she clearly does because she's been through worse things... stuff like that makes him annoying to me... But it also very clearly shows how not close Yanhui and bxs are. He literally doesn't know a thing about her except for the fact that she is his light. He doesn't put in the effort to learn about her instead we get multiple scenes of him just staring at her face... That isn't what love looks like, it's more obsession. He had so many chances to learn about her and please her, touch her heart but he decides to do things in a way that pleases him more... During the last scene of ep 22, instead of saying smt about her personality ( because Yanhui has an amazing personality), he just comments again on that one incident they shared because to him whatever they went through together after that was insignificant to him... He chooses one moment that Yanhui was there for him, latches onto it and obsesses over it... Not noticing anything else that she does because he's so fixed in his ideas of her. I actually enjoy how the writers portray him. instead of being someone blindly in love, he's actually someone obsessed... So obsessed that he's afraid to let go of her and see that she's only truly happy with someone else.

I'll say this over and over again for everyone to hear, Yanhui is the best fl I've seen in a xianxia to date... I adore her personality and how strong of a character she is. When she burned that contract, I was screaming with joy because my girl makes good decisions for herself. I love her so much 😭😭

I just finished watching them both, couldn't stop myself hahah

too busy tonight so I'll be saving the episodes for tmr but so far the comments are making me so excited and tempted to watch them rn 😭

I mean he is kept captive at her house for a good portion of the start 👀

hahahah don't worry she annoys the hell out of me too... ml deserves a lot more tbh. Till the end she keeps on jumping to conclusions and immediately see's him as evil hwen he literally hasn't done anything. She doesn't try to explain her actions or try to understand him, she just calls him evil over and over again... Stress me out because he deserves to be treated well.. And the fact that she keeps letting him almost die and then realised oh yeah she has to keep him alive... like girl priorities pls. She's so messy istg. The only reason he falls for her is because everyone around him is equally as horrible

don't worry half the time I think I was crying out of frustration 🤣... I felt so mad that they didn't even try talking to each other that I'd just start crying hahaha

also I adore lyx as an actor 😭... it's very mesmerising to watch

trust me, around 5 episodes in I was stressed out completely... around 15 it was game over for me, reached episode 30 and i feel like I lost my entire soul... the misunderstandings keep coming and coming and they never get resolved until it's too late 😭... its a hell hole of miscommunications so beware lol. So far I kept it on hold because the angst is ten times more than the fluff and I'm too emotionally drained from it hahha

The love I have for this show is actually surreal... my fav xianxia so far so it better not disappoint me in the end hahahah
