9.0/10 - So frustrated with Dong Hoon, but I get it! He's such a good person!

The pacing with My Mister has been its saving grace and rather more impressive then I thought it would be. That said I honestly thought the writer would drag out the confrontation FOREVER. Oh, sweet pay off when Dong Hoon confronts Joon Yeong right away! The glove in the tent was the final bit of proof that Dong Hoon may have needed . . . but I think at the moment he was honestly just thinking of protecting his wife. Even putting it back in her car when he got home. (Dong Hoon is incredible.) It's also quite stunning to realize that Joon Yeong had wanted Yoon Hee in college. The clue about the head CEO say that he couldn't see Joon Yeong in the Western Music club, "That he must of liked a girl" was even more proof. I honestly believe that people liked Dong Hoon and that made Joon Yeong jealous. To the point that he even coveted the woman that Dong Hoon loved. The most heartbreaking thing is that what Dong Hoon truly wanted to know was if Yoon Hee new everything that Joon Yeong was doing to him. I know that Dong Hoon had to know, but I think he needed to hear it. Joon Yeong dances around the question, but I think that's confirmation enough.Dong Hoon's son is alive!! The whole time the writing and directing has made it feel like the rift between Dong Hoon and Yoon Hee was because their son died. This whole time he's been alive and at a school. I assume some kind of boarding school that's why he's not at home and they life in a small apartment. I know it's cold of me, but why have kids? His grandmother raised him and then they just ship him off to school??!! Cold moment over. This drama is very subtle, or maybe not. When Dong Hoon's son requests for an assignment that his dad record himself doing a special talent for a minute (I think that long) it makes Dong Hoon wonder what his special talent is. His older brother brings to light when you're poor you don't have time or money to waste on discovering special talents. As a child you're just happy to see a kid with another ball and maybe you can get to kick it while playing. You're too busy later on trying to learn and get a good job you still don't have time. Which lead to the hilarity of Korean men's talent being drinking! Take over the world one beer at a time! Or soju. I also wonder why it's bad that the owner of the bar live in the bar? Money status? The silliest thing of this episode is that Ji An didn't know that grandchildren do not count as relations responsible for their grandparents. I'm not Korean, but I know about their free care for the elderly. Also the total household income rules, which also apply in America if you ever apply for things. (Which is stupid.) I've picked it up in dramas, and world news. Even if Ji An doesn't have time to read the news or watch TV she has all this freaking tech at her fingertips. Not to mention a smart head on her shoulders? Why wouldn't she have researched things?? I know it was to make a point about her not having parents and people to teacher her, but when you're surviving like she does you learn fast. It seems so out of character and stupid. Even if it does give Dong Hoon brownie points with Ji An for telling her about it.Dong Hoon's mentality that if you just duck you're head and don't do anything is what makes him have to keep paying for things. Bad people can't understand that you just don't want to deal with their crap and would rather leave them alone. Dong Hoon is clearly covering up the affair to protect his wife. Not sure if he still wants to be with her, but after 15 years and a child you can't just stop loving them. Even with their marriage so cold. It's still clear though that Joon Yeong is already spinning false tales around so that if Dong Hoon outs him about the affair he can say "see he still thinks I'm having one with is wife!" Dong Hoon displayed smart instincts, but he has to know that people like Joon Yeong can't understand other people that would rather protect their loved ones then grab for power.A really solid episode all around. Except for that first silly thing and then the second silly thing of not addressing that Loan Shark broke in! Broke in and beat up Ji An!!!! Now Loan Shark is following her? Why? He has mental issues and has entered the realm of obsessed stalker. I really believe his obsession is not about just his dad's murder anymore. I'm wondering what all the extra jobs Dong Hoon's mother has? In the end I am so frustrated about Dong Hoon not outing Joon Yeong. I know he's protecting his wife, but she was out to get him too! Dong Hoon is an incredible person.

4.0/10 - I know I'm still in the setup episodes, but I need more . . .

There is a huge fatal flaw with this drama. Annoying and unlikable characters. I feel like this episode helped Dong Hoon out. Ji An got character assassinated.Dong Hoon seems like a detached and cold person. Judging from the pictures of his son, he's dealing with the loss of a child. He's not mentioned his son or talked about it. Clearly his dealing with that. His wife clearly is either grieving in away that has detached herself from them as a couple, or moved on. Either way she's right: "She's a bad person." She might have said we instead of she, but to conspire against her husband like that. With a man that is clearly corrupt, done something to her husband repeatedly. She wouldn't just be getting her husband fired, having an affair and divorce, but on top of the loss of a child. When Dong Hoon got the warning that his wife new about the money he should stay suspicious. He's taking all the warning seriously and knows that Joon Yeong is after him. He knows it's not for the company and has even deduces that Joon Yeong has done him wrong and he is unaware of it. With the cold wife like that it wouldn't be too hard to piece. Especially because she already admitted to calling him. What I'm truly confused about is why he can't find work elsewhere? Is it that Korea is that hard of a place to find new work? People can't stay with a job forever. Whether it's their choice or not. It's also clear his older brother has looked for work, but is picky and apparently bad credit means you can't be hired? Doesn't that seem stupid? You need to work to get out of debt. Clearly I'm missing out on something about South Korea's economics and how the working world works there. Now back to Ji An. It's understandable that being that poor and under duress from her loan shark anyone can become desperate. I mean she lost her dish cleaning job, AKA source of food. (What monster fires someone who needs so bad that they're only stealing the leftovers!!??!! No really!) However, she showed some amazing skills her AND some high tech equipment and planning. Yes her gamer friend is helping. But that equipment alone could probably pay back her debts. Not to mention all her conning and skills could have clearly used in another way. By now I have no doubt she knows that Dong Hoon is a good person. Yet she's working against him like this. She's a horrible person. It's gonna take a lot more to make me like her. Plus, she's so conceded she thinks everyone wants her. That's kind of joke, but not really since she keeps bring it up. There are too many things adding up. That Ji An's temp agency helped with the bribe and has so many connections with Dong Hoon's company. That she knew to work Joon Yeong side. Though if she really just randomly settled with him to help out then I question her. She should be good at judging people by now. I mean she made a joke that she's glad Joon Yeong wanted to talk because she was worried about him killing her. If the writer was smart this would be an elaborate plan the real owner was doing to flush out the bad seeds. I don't see it though. Dong Hoon's brothers do grow on you. Though the eldest is super annoying. Clearly he knows about whatever happened to Dong Hoon's son, but still thinks his brother just has this cool easy life. I fell like the younger brother should have kept all the information on Ji An to help out Dong Hoon. At least they both have a job working "Brothers Cleaning". I feel like this might not last with dolts like them. There was some real sprinkles of humor in here and I hope that means the endless hopelessness/bleakness of this drama and it's leads will ease up. There's only so much someone can take. Not to mention Ji An's grandma looked sick and we have no further word on that. Her gamer friend. Why aren't we explaining that? I will admit the emotions are intense and even the work politics are interesting. Still it needs more soon.

Ah, backstory and character building.

Ah, backstory and character building. At least Yeo Reum won't remain a mystery ever! Oh, and we're treated to another piggyback ride reversal. Speaking of reversals I love the idea that Jang Mi is the one going between love interest. (You know like the male lead normally does.) However, here's isn't sneaky. Ki Tae set it up and Jang Mi has been trying to get out of it. She has no romantic interests at all and she's tried to break it off so many times. She's not hiding that she likes and wants Yeo Reum.

It was also very cute how Jang Mi stood up for her friend. I think going and facing off with Hoon Dong was a great idea. However, she should have just warned him to either end things swiftly or treat her friend right. Hyun Hee is clearly got her own mind and she be allowed to blunder. She knew everything going in.

Se Ah could be seen as the typical female lead. However, I like that why things won't work out is because Ki Tae realized that he'd be marrying his mother. Before they were even married she was trying to micro manage him and one up him so she would have power of him. Just like Jang Mi said, "I think I know now . . . why he wants to live alone so badly." Phew, with a family like that and almost marrying Se Ah I totally get it. I don't think Se Ah just wants his sperm either, it's simply another trap.

Though he should just give up that apartment and get his own place. I get that it has very strong feelings for that place, but he'd solve a lot of his problems by getting a place only he knew about and could enter. He's already living alone, why not just be smart?

Besides the obvious ways of getting out of this situation. "Yes I won't let you ever marry me off. I'm moving to a place you'll never find out about. I can take solace in real kiss scenes. Though I am a bit disappointed about how Ki Tae and Jang Mi finally locked lips. I wanted it to be because passion took over and they HAD TO DO IT! I'll still hold out for it. This one wasn't bad, clearly Ki Tae suddenly got into it and they both decided it wasn't a bad idea.

I really like the adult feel and themes of this drama. Not to mention making the stereotypical characters well fleshed out with motives! Yeah!

Good . . . but . . .

Okay, so this episode really helped to fleshout our crazy wonderful Jang Mi. Especially as she realized that she doesn't want revenge, she just wants to simply move on. She doesn't want to become jaded either. She wants to be her, and love how she wants. We also find out that somehow when she was home alone at 5 she almost died, so that's wear her issues with being alone stem from.

I can also see that Jang Mi and Yeo Reum may not be that great of an idea. He finds her amusing and doesn't really want to give it ago. At least that's what I felt when they finally got their "date". I really like the idea of seeing that the second lead may not be compatible with the female lead.

Ki Tae seems cold. This episode give us glimpses into a warmer side that he keeps hidden. It also shows that because his mom manages people, that's what he does. Her control freak ways are probably the biggest factor for his need for alone time. Or even whatever happened in the past between him and Se Ah. Though I wonder why granny thinks she has something to do with it? (Maybe his mom has her confused.)

I'm a little confused why Jang Mi's friend is so self righteous. After all she knows the full story of what happened between her and Hoon Dong. It hasn't even been that long. Yet she states Jang Mi is toying with him and that if they're really friends they'll sort it out. Yet, I think Jang Mi is a good enough person that if she would have talked with her first it would have been better. Probably Jang Mi's main concern would be how her friend would get treated by Hoon Dong. Yes, the friend --Hyun Hee--didn't make bold moves, but she is circling.

Oh, and the debate! It was Nemo, Ki Tae just likes to seem so above it. >_< Another random thing, I am currently watching this on Viki and this is one of the best subber team names ever: "Forget Dating, Give Me the Ring!"

I'm also happy to hear that even Ki Tae's grandma thinks their family is horrible. From blackmail, spying and so on. The family is so forceful who wouldn't flee. Since his family is weird about caring he just can't understand or deal with people who openly and freely care. Though it's clear he was moved by Jan Mi's open heart in the first place.

It's funny that Jang Mi knows him so well. Such as for his home password: "He's a narcissist it's his birthday." Loved the whole drinking thing with the granny! I think they'd love being in laws for real. Though it makes me sad that finally Jang Mi's parents are talking over their joy of their daughters future marriage.

The thing that really ruined this for me was how mean Ki Tae was and that whole locked in the bathroom thing! He had wine and water! He should have been fine just hungry. That is the ridiculous thing. Especially since being "saved" will clearly alter something between Ki Tae and Jang Mi. This should just show Jang Mi he's stupid.

Also, I don't really care for leads who spend more time drunk than sober. I hope this will not be one of those dramas.

Oh, I am so proud of Lin Man.

First off I am so proud of Lin Man. I love that in the end only her daughter could again break through to her. Even if the words spoken came from someone else. I was so moved. She was genuine. I love that the memory of her words protecting her daughter and an ideal were the final bits that broke through for Lin Man to understand.

That said I think this episode could have been a wrap up. Though it would feel odd for Yi Ting and Xin Yu to get a quick happy ending. It's clear things are a bit more drug out to extend things. Though not bad enough for me to call it filler. I do want Yi Ting and Xin Yu to organically make up.

Oh, and I lived for Yu Nan's confession to Qian Ren. Especially since everyone else knew, but he was totally unaware! Ha-ha. Even his mom!

Oh, and finally there's an open dialogue between Yi Ting and Xin Yu. Though he had to "fake" pretend they weren't really being so open with each other. Yet they were having this romantic open fantasized lunch. Then poof! It wasn't real, but at least they finally talked. He also stated he would never lie to her again.

I'm super shocked that he would totally give up his current job and come back to the farm full time. This is a totally new Yi Ting that I'm delighted to meet. Which is why we need more time with him. So it's all up in the air if this drama will end at 19 or 20. Viki thinks 20. So we'll see. I guess the popularity of the show took everyone by surprise.

I am so happy that Xiao Yue is still there to help out these clueless lovebirds. Evacuating the room to help romance bloom and then shoving him over to her. (Which led to that moving comforting scene in which he tentatively takes Xin Yu and holds her. ;_;) Best part is I new Xiao Yue and Su Zhongwen would make an adorable couple!

The build up is killing me!

The build up is killing me! Everyone wants Jung Moon dead. Ah, so sweet. Woong Cheol and Tae Soo won't do it. Is Woong Cheol's old boss really the one who wants him dead? Or is there some bigger scheme going on. Not to mention that the prosecutor apparently knows what ties Goo Tak has with them. It can't be that he helped put them all away right? That seems to simple. Either way the build up is killing me.

Especially where the this episode leaves Woong Cheol! Ah, my big mean teddy bear. I really adore him. Oh, and that line: "Let's go to die." Ha-ha.

I'm trying to pay attention if anyone else gets the broken bones sound affects when they fight. Tae Soo apparently likes to break arms and wrist. It's kind of funny and I'm trying to pay attention more.

The random shooter thing was interesting, though It's been done in many things even with the plot that it was to cover up specific targets. It was well utilized here, especially to show how are Bad Guys have grown.

I'm still a bit disappointed in Mi Yeong's role. I wonder if she'll truly stay a side kick the whole drama?

I had to sit on this ending for a while.

I had to sit on this ending for a while. Because it ticked me off that bad. I thought if I cooled down I'd find something that I liked enough to forgive how this drama just gave up.

Nope.

So this drama that did so great at developing its cast, then decided to just turn them into happy go luck stereotypes in the final episodes. Why is this important. Because killer Tae Ho somehow escapes jail and happily paints with his "friends" at the end. Despite the fact that he accidentally may have not killed one person, but assuredly killed 4 others. (Yes, the pilot was dying and it was a mercy kill.)

I know this writer tends to make off choices for the stories or huge plot holes, but this was an utter disappointment. I can not believe that 9 episodes of build up and promise . . . led to this. Ugh.

The epiosde number just bumped to 19! What! Also, FIGHTING Xin Yu!

The episode number just bumped to 19! What? Is this an MDL error? Everywhere else is still saying 18. Huh. Now to my review:

"You also have compelling reasons right? Can you all not be this excessive? First you stab someone, then you say that you didn't really mean to stab her! You're all so pathetic. You are all just forced to hurt others." - Xin Yu

Xin Yu has truly grown up. I love the dialogue and realities of this drama. She confronts Yi Ting and boy does she let him have it. He needs to realize the damaged he's wrecked. He's ruined her faith and hope in family, love, and friendship. Though Su Zhongwen should help restore some of that. He was straightforward with her and eventually told her the truth leaving the matter into her hands.

The reality is that Xin Yu is analyzing every moment when she thought she was with these people. She will probably never be able to trust like she did before. There will always be doubts and the waiting for someone to betray her. That's the most heartbreaking thing.

Did anyone else find it odd that her mom said she had grown up and that she was worried as her daughter never suffered. Maybe not big losses. I was nervous the Tourette's Syndrome was dropped, but it did make an appearance after one of her face offs.

While Xin Yu didn't think her full game ahead, she definitely had the start of a great plan. Yi Ting sill can't give up his revenge. All I can hope for is that Qian Ren will be okay.

"Xin Yu, I won't let anyone hurt you. Because only I can hurt you."- Yi Ting

I'm just as torn as Xin Yu. That line besides you can't help but feel for Yi Ting. It's because we know all the angles, motivations, and sides. As a viewer I feel sympathy for both Xin Yu and Yi Ting. However, I don't like some of his actions and moves towards Xin Yu. I feel like the strong point would be for Xin Yu to leave him, but my heart wants them to save each other.

Qian Ren turned into a spy fast. Even though he knows how much finding out about Xiao Yue hurt. (Talk about symbolism as Xiao Yue lays in the ruins of her robbed apartment she shared with Xin Yu!) In the end he knew to some extant and thought it was all right. While the farm people warming up to Xin Yu was moving, I wanted her to escape from all those who lied.

That ending is terrifying and I hope things don't take a tragic twist. I like the idea of Yi Ting and Xin Yu teaming up to bring Tang down. Because boy does he need to. I also like the idea of Lin Man not getting off. The proof will destroy them both, and that's how it should be.

Dang nabbit, had to be that guy who finds out. Creepy sniffer.

So this is what truly leads Seung Nyang to the path of vengeance. To be trapped in there with him dying like that, vengeance is needed. Though I thought the Emperor (Todon, Ta Hawan, whatever that's what I'm calling him from now on) knew who he was to Seung Nyang. Now I'm wondering if he doesn't? Because he'd feel even more guilty.

Oh, and I have a comment for last episode when the doctor was all like "I've never seen a woman in so much pain before." Um, how about every day living. Childbirth. I doubt that Seung Nyang was the first infected arrow wound he's seen on a woman. Woman suffer just as much or more, after all woman experience everything a man can and things they can't. Goodness. That really ticked me off.

Also, what is with making the villains laugh so cheesey? Even the Emperor's bride to be has some serious laugh issues.

So this episode packs one heck of a punch. We see why things happen, why the Emperor betrays everyone. But we're left with the frustration that we know and yet the other cast members don't. El Temur is one heck of an evil foe!

This episode really revved up my emotions. I'm angry and so ticked! I feel just as helpless as Seung Nyang. Vengeance! Blood! I'm even ticked at the Emperor and want his blood. (Sorry my beloved Ji Chang Wook).

Oh, fair warning you will want the next episode right after this cliffhanger! Dang nabbit, had to be that guy who finds out. Creepy sniffer.

Cutie patootie! Oh, my that dream and the butt grabbing.

That dream Bong Soon had was insane. Hilariously so! I mean Mion Hyeok didn't look too shabby dressed as a woman, and then Gook Du's whole reactions. Just--even thinking about it makes me laugh! (I've already rewatched the scene too many times.) Honestly I really want to see the bloopers from filming that so I can see the actor's, and set people's, reactions. That butt grab! How did Ji Soo keep such a straight face?

The hoodie girl! I know that's how they're paths met prior, but I didn't notice the red hoodie was Bong Soon until this episode. I have a feeling everyone is connected. Oh, well.

Oh, oh! The whole The Bodyguard reference with the Whitney Houston song was perfection! I laughed so hard. >_< Not to mention Bong Soon's dad pulling out all his hidden money. The fractured toe that healed super fast. Bong Soon was totally into the gang wanting to make her their boss, she loved the hero worship! This episode just got me laughing.

The movie and dance club was too awesome. Though if she's that out of control when she's not drunk I'm pretty sure that the dance pole wouldn't have been the only causality when she's plastered. (Though I question crying at the super hero movies? I mean she has a secret identity to hide (that she can't keep), but not much in common with them otherwise.) Min Hyeok watching her dance and have a good time was great. I love that he didn't care what she said while drunk. His only response is that the morning after when she was acting all innocent about it was that she was cute, sexy, and such a "cutie patootie"! Min Hyeok's open interest for her is awesome! I love it! Though I wish he'd quit with the gay joke.

To be honest the writing for Strong Woman Do Bong is all over the place. There are so many plot things going on. Boong Soon parents both seem to have love interests. he love triangle of Bong Soon, Min Hyeok, and Good Du. Then the love triangle of Gook Du, Gook Du's girlfriend, and Bong Soon's brother. The weird kidnapping/murders, the person out to get Min Hyeok, Min Hyeok inheriting his dad's shady business, the development of the neighborhood, the gang that wants to get rid of or recruit Bong Soon, and the youngster gang wanting her to be their boss. That's just the in your face stuff. Despite it all I can't help, but be entertained. This is one of those dramas that is insane and I know there are flaws in the writing, but I can't help it. Park Bo Young (playing Bong Soon) is just too irresistible in comedy roles.

So will I be continuing this drama? You bet! I've gotten over my high expectations. Oh well, I'll enjoy the crazy fun.

Oh, I laughed so hard at Bong Soon's mom!

"But still, don't you ever give up. You're just as good as Gook Du!"

Holy dramas. Bong Soon's mother just cracked me up this entire episode! Ha-ha! First she's encouraging her daughter to sleep with her boss and scolding Gook Du for being there and telling him to leave ASAP. Then she's scolding Bong Soon for not really sleeping with the boss. Encouraging ther to dress more sexy, and flashing her daughter her "sexy red socks"!! Oh, my. Her mom is so horrible, but I love her. >_<

Ah, I think the kidnapper/killer bride snatcher is one of Min Hyeok's brothers. At least if this is one of those dramas that likes to tie in everything. I think I read people think it's Bong Soon's brother. First off she would have recognized him and his voice, secondly no. I'd like it if it was someone totally unconnected. (Though if we wanted it to be someone "shocking" I'd vote for Bong Soon's dad? Her mom is enough to drive anyone insane!) Besides it looks like Bong Soon's brother is going to be sweeping Gook Du's girlfriend away.

Love that we pick up right back at the face off between Gook Du and Min Hyeok. Though to be honest I had completely forgot where I was in the drama, which doesn't bode well. Love that the scene kind of flips around to not just Bong Soon getting wrist grabbed, but doing it to Gook Du as well.

Min Hyeok going along with the gay thing is odd, but proving to be hilarious. As the quote up top lets you know. I love everyone's reaction to Min Hyeok "flirting" with Gook Du, especially Gook Du's response.

The reveal for why Min Hyeok hates cops and wanted to be a criminal when he grew up should have been so obvious to me, but I like the plug in now. For a moment I thought Bong Soon had hurt Min Hyeok's dads people. Turns out not, but I'm wondering where the gang leader (not Min Hyeok's dad) is going to plug in. Not to mention that it looks like Bong Soon is the new boss of the neighborhood gang! What?

Ah, so it looks like the kidnapping/murder stuff is going to be Bong Soon's hero journey. Interesting way of setting it up.

That said this drama is still a mess and I think I'm just going to have to realize that my high hopes need to be put to rest. I'll just have to enjoy the craziness and have fun. Though I'm loath to admit that so far the 2017 dramas I'm watching aren't what I expected. (Curse you Missing 9) I do love the over the top humor and all the potty humor. It works.

Pest control! Ha-ha!

I like how this episode dealt with moving in. Especially so fast. They didn't really date before doing so. I love how he called the ring he gave her pest control. Though is it when it's on the right wedding finger? Because I wear rings on that finger all the time and I still get asked out.

Akito is still a smooth operator working on her brother. The brother is clearly on his side. Why not he's offering her marriage.

This was a fun and cute episode per usual. It was nice seeing Ryu and Asuka getting to know each other. On a radom note I'm surprised how clean this drama still is and the one kiss in this episode was a quick peck. Apparently this manga is supposed to be smut. With them living together I thought there might be hints of "adult" relations going on. Yet it's very clean. That's okay as I like the story revolving more on the characters.

This drama really could turn into something amazing.

Xin Yu is growing. Xiao Yue is right, she's so unguarded. Her light makes it hard for her to even fathom how Yi Ting might be playing her. *hugs* I love seeing her moments of brilliance. Like telling the police she refuses nighttime interrogations. Also seeing through Qian Ni and not begging.

From the previews Xin Yu's runaway may not be sticking. Though I admire her for wanting to keep Xiao Yue safe.

There's still hope for a Womance as Xiao Yue realizes she really cares for Xin Yu. Even willing to confront Yi Ting.

I get that people are angry. However, you don't accuse the next available person. Wouldn't reality be that if someone did all that using and tossing their daughter away wouldn't be too hard?

That said I'm sorry for Xin Yu. Clearly her mother has done some dirty things. I want to have hope that she didn't.

Oh, and I know Yi Ting and Xin Yu have chemistry and Yi Ting slays it with those sexy smirks. However, Qian Ren (Lee Sean!) has serious chemistry with her too. Until he was suddenly "repelled" by her. The whole caring thing was cute.

I also thing that Yi Ting realizes he might be terrorizing Qian Ni too much. He might just truly send her off her rocker. After all she did do something he didn't even plan.

I love the way the story is weaving the web Yi Ting as woven around Xin Yu. Scary! Stay strong Xin Yu!

This drama really could turn into something epic.

Ooooooo. Ahhhhhhhh. Strong female lead!

Ooooooo. Ahhhhhhhh. Strong female lead! Interesting start. It was a bit muddy showing us Seung Nyang becoming Empress Ki, but once that's over with you fall into her youth and growing up. I liked this so much.

Especially the "twist". I really hoped that Seung Nyang was playing like that. For the sake of spoilers I won't really go into it.

Anywho, I love this setup. It's a very sophisticated gender bender. Not to mention revenge thus far. The visuals are amazing and the wardrobes! One of the strongest opening epiosdes I've had the pleasure of watching. Truly beyond impressed here.

Though this is a ton of building here, the writing doesn't have too much time develop the characters. What I've seen so far I like. The message of the world being cruel to females is so true, especially in any society's historical times. Woman got the short of end of the stick always.

I look forward to Seung Nyang's journey. >_<

I don't like this sneaky stuff.

I don't like this sneaky stuff. Feng Teng just needs to be up front. If he knows she won't take it because he's paying for the apartment or it's his house, then he should respect that. I don't like how much he sneaks behind her back and does this kind. He forced her to suddenly like him and then to have to confess because he doesn't like it that way. He withholds information and makes her suffer. Now he's tricking her into doing things while making it seem like it's good luck.

I really want them to be more open. I'm sure a crash will come (should come with things going like this.)

Also, how cold of Li Shu and Feng Yue to basically up front say that because she's just an assistant she should rise or do something with it. And that whatever she decides Feng Teng has to approve. Not to mention that they, especially his sister, said she'd never approve of Shan Shan in the end because she's a mere assistant. How horrible. I get China is really big on status and stuff, but I thought at last Feng Yue understood that status may not matter in love. That's why Feng Teng likes Shan Shan.
