Well I just went out on bought the OST.

Up to this episode I haven't really talked about the other characters, just that like enjoy them and the overall story their past is building.

So I'm going to say that I love the cray-cray Min Ja (the hacker) and Yeong Jae. OK, so I have mentioned Yeong Jae, he is Healer's mentor. The one I was cracking up wanting to make a move on Yeong Shin. I love when these too are talking. They humorous and yet they're building up the great mystery revolving around that picture.

At this point I know who everyone in the picture is. It's funny that at its core it's a tragic love story. Most likey of greed and jealousy. Building a tragic love story in the present day story! I love how each episode is laying done tie-ins. There's a lot of complex work going on, and I appreciate it.

Moon Shik was our obvious villain. But it's strange to think that he's more of a puppet for this Elder. The mystery around Elder is tantalizing. Is this how Moon Shik took his junk yard business into a huge powerful company? Did he sell his soul much how Sang Soo did?

Moon Ho and Moon Shik are definitely drawing lines in the sand. Which makes me wonder why the Elder jumped the gun.

Serious stuff aside this episode was perfection!

That sweet kiss, which I hope is a prologue to even more passion. Healer's weak knees! The "make over" that took Healer's breath away. I love that everything is on Healer's face, despite that he's playing his cards close. I'm not even sure how to describe it. He's undercover, but you can see it all. That walk home with Healer following was moving.

Honestly guys I think Yeong Shin and Healer might just be my new favorite drama couple. Bravo.

"Jun Seok? Who is that? "

"Do you believe in the power of everlasting love? We can make it if we stay together."

Ha-ha! Healer's mentor wants to make the moves on Yeong Shin, too funny! The way he was talking about her and making plans to swoop in once Healer was gone just made my day. Poor Yeong Shin she has no idea how man people are watching her . . . and wanting her. All for different reasons.

The mystery of Healer's father is tantalizing. Not to mention Yeong Shin's. Obviously there's going to be huge dramatic reveal that crashes Yeong Sin and Healer's budding romance. Or some where down they're romance line.

The dirty side of the news is very interesting. But I also like how the writers are making a commentary on how the news and law can come hand in hand. They affect each other. More importantly in law and news the rich can make it out. But the lower class get lost and screwed over in the outcome.

What I'm baffled about is the last episode I thought Healer was having his lackey steal the car so that he could jump in as the "driver" and show everyone that Bong Soo couldn't be Healer. And now this episode he is using his lackey for a bait and switch! Darn it! Wasted opportunity.

Yeah! Finally Healer does some breaking and entering. It was about time!

(Now excuse me while I try to find that song! "My Eternal Love". Also, looking for Jun Seok in the cast page didn't help me find the name. Who is that?!)

Of Idols and Crushes.

Well this was an amazing turn of events!! Moon Ho has guts, and I'm so nervous to find out if he really has done something wrong. I love the idea of him mentoring Yeong Shin. So Moon Ho cooks and buys up whole companies to get his way! Swoons.

But that wasn't the best part. Healer and Yeong Shin have such chemistry. When she was talking about her crushes it was so cute. Healer's facial expressions where all kinds of awesome.

The more I, and Healer, get to know Yeong Shin I really like her. She's so well realized. It's a true treat to have such a three dimensional character as the female lead!

I'm pretty positive I know who everyone in the picture is now! I have some ideas of what may have happened, but the writers are playing their cards close to their chests. The mystery is definitely my favorite part of this show. Not enough is given to reveal everything.

Slow, but sweet.

Usually I'm the first to be bored by slower episodes. However episode 9 had such strong writing that I enjoyed it. Sure I still feel so horrible for Seon Woo being molested at every turn by Sun Ae. She's lucky he fell for Sun Ae/Bong Seon. I enjoyed how the writers talked aobut what a great guy does about sex when he truly likes a girl. Not to mention that it showed how much Bong Seon get Seon Woo, and I feel like they are both truly in love with each other. Sun Ae may have broke the ice, so to speak, but I think Bong Seon is the one he truly fell for.

This episode also highlights Bong Seon's compassion. She agrees with Seon Woo, such things shouldn't be rushed. Yet she cares enough about Sun Ae to let her have sex with her body so that she doesn't have to become an evil spirit. Because Bong Seon has chef, she doesn't need Sun Ae anymore.

This did an excellent job of showing Seong Jae past. From what I gather I think he already had a darker side, but the evil spirit possessed him. Not sure if the hint is the real Seong Jae died and the spirit took over, or if he was just weakened and that happened. The suspense! I'm so curious as to how he was involved in his wife's accident and Sun Ae's death. I have know doubt about it and I LOVE how the suspense is building. Not to mention that someone is now clued in that Seong Jae may be evil.

Overall I loved seeing how much the characters and storylines are growing. It would really be great to have more Bong Seon and less Sun Ae. Bong Seon has grown, but I lfeel like she's not getting to experience the live she's striving to achieve. AND! She still has no interest in using the resources in front of her to figure out how to avoid spiritual encounters. After all Sun Ae is friends with a real shaman! Either way I'm really happy with this drama and now that the issue of Sun Ae jumping poor Seon Woo's bones is addressed I hope they can leave that underwhelming storyline be. Though Sun Ae is on a time line here, but I would think she'll realize she wants justice for her death.

Um, no words!

No really, there aren't enough words to describe how amazing I Hear Your Voice has become. Everything is relevant to the story. Back story drama that seems like a waste of time to over dramatize the show, or create weak connections for the characters, in dramas seem like such a tiring waste. However, the writers here prove how to use it to make the characters personalities and to actually create a strong bond between characters. Most importantly not everyone is connected to everyone. IHYV has hit it's full stride and it is a thing of beauty.

While we know what Soo Ha is clearly planning, there a tons of what ifs up in the air. And considering that there are only 10 more episodes left my mind is spinning with the possibilities. My nerves are completely frazzled and burnt! The emotions evoked in this episode . . . again no words. The acting, writing, and everything about this series is showcased so well here. Another golden episode from what has come hands down one of my favorite dramas. (And I normally don't spout stuff like that until I've finished a series.)

Sorry to keep it vague, but I don't want to ruin anything.

Amazing!

It's been ages since a first episode in a drama was so amazing! Usually even if a drama interests you, it's a few episodes before things click and the story comes together. I Hear Your Voice's first episode is fantastic. Letting viewers meet both Soo Ha and Hye Sung, then Sung goes into her tale. AKA the flashback. Other dramas should take note, because this is how to do a flashback without boring viewers to death.

It establishes both Soo Ha and Hye Sung well. While I am nervous about the age difference meaning that Soo Ha is still in Highschool, I in general love romances with a age gap. It's even sweeter that Soo Ha has been looking for Hey Sung since she testified and he's going to keep is vow of protecting her. Though his on foot search seems stupid as she gave her full name at the hearing and then is apparently still keeping it. Oh, well. On foot searches for ones true love is sweet.

What I like more is that the third will of the romance isn't simply thrust upon viewers and there's a brief glimpse of him. Though I KNOW which team I'm on at this point.

The music, writing, characters, and visuals of this story are great. Hye Sung doesn't seem to take her job seriously, but everything is there for her character growth. As someone wronged by "guilty until proven innocent" and the terror of telling the truth to help someone there's plenty of room here. She's well developed and I like her!

Bravo!

Full cirlce.

There is nothing I love more than when a plot point/story comes full circle! Wow! Well I was complaining that Ri Ta and Ji Sang needed something to really amp up the buildup to them as a couple. Boom! There it is. Honestly I thought I'd have to wait to almost the end for Ri Ta to finally found out her connection to Ji Sang. What's even better is that the reveal echoed there first in counter, well word wise. That was moving and really made them have chemistry.

No really. I've got chills with from the anticipation of how they're going to be together from here on out.

Speaking of reveals and full cricles, there's a lot of it going around here. After finding out some creepy and disturbing truth's about Jae Wook's blood, it only upped the ante. Jae Wook is can excellent villain his looks and smile make you swoon, and his villainess ways temper it all. It's wonderful that more and more of the cards are finally being revealed to our leads.

Overall an excellent episode! While I knew the moment was coming for Ri Ta to catch a cold and Ji Sang to take car of her. (Come on. It AWLAYS happens.) It was so well done that I couldn't begrudge the old trope.

On the vamp mytho here's what we know:

- Antibodies in the blood can have a negative effect on vampires.

- Red blood cells make them go crazy, but they don't need them.

- Vampire can't get too hot, makes them feel like they have flu/painful.

- UV lights still hurt their eyes, even with Ji Sang's special pills.

- They run cold, and it's painful to have a normal temperature.

- Other vampires can sense each other by hearing dolphin like sonar waves. (Or scent?)

- Can they control animals? Or just dogs.

- Dawn and dusk sunlight burn/hurts. (Any other times?)

- Vampirism is caused by a virus.

- Super strength and speed.

Called it!

After episode 5 I had this hunch that Sa Ra would capture the eye of Min Hyeok--you know Kang Joon's boss. Nailed it! The possibilities that branch off from that are . . . mind tingling. Maybe after Sa Ra lands Kang Joon in jail she'll help Tae Hee go after Min Hyeok? But I'm getting ahead of myself.

Tae Hee falling for Sa Ra is pretty darn cute. Especially since he's falling in love with her personality and caring qualities, even if he was kind of going into lust with her body before. (Also refered to the horned demon.) Emphasizing that while she looks pretty, Tae Hee sees and likes the Sa Ra beneath the skin. Which for a drama that is really caught up in how important beauty is, is big.

Still love the comedic humor throughout all the revenging. It's great to be throwing my hands in the air at Sa Ra and Tae Hee's latest victory while laughing my butt off. Well done.

The corporate plot, and Tae Hee's grandma's, are coming a long nicely and soon it will be time for them to be the main focus. But for now I'm enjoying Sa Ra's revenge. The plot twists here are endless. It's nice to have a drama where I'm guessing and guessing where it's going to go. Because this mash of genres has been one of the most exciting dramas I've tried in a while. The fact that it is a mash up and can't be categorized into one basic type is the very reason it's so good.

Again with the amazing ending! Love and revenge blooming side by side to create yet another top notch cliffhanger for this series. It may be totally crazy and over the top. But I'm loving it.

(Oh, and who doesn't just love Jung Shik? AKA the Hulk? At least someone in that family cares!)

Pow!

Ka-pow! Pow!

Right out of the gate this episode came swinging. After the build up of Sa Ra's dangerous look and Tae Hee dramatic dialogue, I was nervous how the next episode would develop the show. Oh, it developed in a good way.

Most dramas drag out the good guys getting some revenge for sooooo long. To a point where it's so gloomy that most of the time I can't stand it. Either losing interest and quitting, or just ruining the rest of the show. Birth of a Beauty is not one to disappoint. There's a certain joy in watching the good guys get some well deserved justice. Heck both Sa Ra and Tae Hee get to punch Kang Joon! (Can I get some woot-woots!)

BoaB is going in a great direction. That's not to say that there weren't some seriously cheesy moments. There was a whole secret meeting scene around a burning oil can between Sa Ra and Tae Hee that pulled me out because it was horrid. Then there were some fist warming, blowing, and strangeness that was just . . . weird. Yet, I was cracking up the whole time.

That's the charm of BoaB at this point. Despite it's surprising dark turns and revenge-awesomeness. It still keeps is comedic light. Which is something I really want to continue. This is a great fusion of genres and in a fusion such as this normally one genre gets cut out. Doesn't hurt that all these other plots are going on and they're making a pretty interesting story.

This whole episode is A-mazing! What a wonderful pace and action! (Please drama gods do not let this drama spiral out!) While the ending may not have been as TOTALLY awesome as the last one. You can't help but feel happy that the revelation that food, well kindness, is the true path to a man hearts. Even trumping beauty and sexiness. ^_-

The plot thickens!

First off I have to confess in being really negative about this episode. Sa Ra's grand illusions about her "perfect husband" and not being able to find him at fault really weighed on me. Sa Ra was fast becoming a K-drama doormat, one that I didn't like. Until a 20 mins in a fellow viewer told me that Sa Ra hadn't lived with her husband in over 7 years. Meaning she didn't truly know the man and only had grand ideas in her head of what a wonderful and amazing Prince Charming he was. As this went through my mind I realized that Sa Ra is naive and from what viewers have seen she's all about thinking the best of people. Not the worst.

Once I realized that that this episode got a whole lot more interesting! Especially towards the end where Sa Ra might be doubting everything as a darker side of her tragic "accidental" death comes to light. Viewers get a more . . . dark and aggressive Lee Kang Joon foreshadowing beautifully that Sa Ra is married to a stranger and that she's just discovering things about him. Along with viewers, though we may have her one upped.

This episode incorporates business espionage, which I'm finding is a big thing in Asian dramas. There's some scary plots going on to take over the Winner group and Han Tae Hee character keeps getting more and more interesting! He knows he's the heir to the Winner company, yet what about all this mystery with his grandmother? How is Kang Joon entangled in this? And his picking Chae Yeon as his mistress an accident? Or some amazing-crazy plot devices in the future?

Overall if you can look past how you want this show to go, the development is finally happening. Sa Ra's naivety about life, and the man she thought was her Prince Charming, is slowly being shattered. Dangerous corporate espionage is being thrown into the mix, and the mystery of Han Tae Hee is build up nicely.

What started out as a quirky makeover drama with revenge against an unfiathful husband fast turning into the Korean Revenge?

Really adorable moments, but . . .

Really adorable moments, but I have shaken Ahn Jae Hyeon's grasp and I am officially dropping this.

For all the reason I've mentioned. Over use of immediate flashbacks and the feeling that the while there are some very unique and funny moments this is nothing new. At times it's painfully melancholy to the drama tropes that made me quite watching dramas for a while.

I know where this drama is going and if I'm bored now, it will probably be a painful wrap up. Besides watch my beautiful Ahn Jae Hyeon, I don't care about these characters. Well except to get Hye Ji some help. Girl has issues.

Goodbye for reals this time.

A twist!

So after you right the wrong from altering the past from random transmissions through a walkie-talkie, what do you do? Well get rid of that thing fast1 I totally get Hae Yeong motives in doing so. Even though they saved that woman and her unborn child in the Hwaseong case. Yes, another woman from the present died. However, I feel like she was an accomplice as she blackmailed the killer.

Anywho, I get Hae Yeong's fear. Soo Hyun is back and safe, but who knows how meddling will change fate again? Part of me really wants to know what the original fate of the ex-con and his daughter would have been if Hae Yeong and Jae Han hadn't messed with the timeline. I feel like they're going to realize it's best to let things go the way they were meant to in the past and let Hae Yeong solve them in the future. Maybe? But I think the ultimate case is going to be saving Hae Yeong's brother in the past.

Of course, that all depends on how things will go with Chi Soo meddling! I love that he ratted Hae Yeong out to Soo Hyun. That's underhanded and very crafty. There's sooooooo much mystery going on. Was Jae Han silenced because of this bridge scandal (if so I understand why they made it so personal again), what happened with Hae Yeong's brother????(no really they keep teasing me!!!!), and will Soo Hyun be clued in on the transmissions? (It would be cool if she found out through Jae Han in the past and she's just pretending she doesn't know so the timeline doesn't alter? Maybe she finds out in the present timeline, or never does?) All of the possibilities of this show are wonderful brain teasers.

Overall this episode really gets things going. I love how this one seemingly simple case has taken on this crazy life. How what seemed like an unconnected case of the present timeline is connecting to the past. While I don't think this did much to develop most of the characters, I enjoyed seeing how Jae Han and Chi Soo met. It's been a great arc. Not to mention the commentary on how easily the rich are released from their crimes! When some poor guy was convicted for 20 years and the rich kid got 6 months with 2 years probation. The problem is that even though there was no proof against the poor ex-con no one questioned the fabrication of evidence. It's a sad truth of todays justice system.

I love a drama that can go there and make us think.

There's no way that actress Im Ye Jin is her grandma!

There's no way that actress Im Ye Jin is her grandma! Unless she had her daughter super young and then she had her granddaughter super young! Even then. No way.

However, she does make a really awesome grandma! She flipped the tables on that mean teacher. Not to mention flirting for band practice space for her dear grand daughter!

It's very cute about love at first song writing! Ha-ha. It's a bit sad, and real, to have her fantasies shattered about her mystery man. Though this drama brings forward the simple fact of misunderstanding someone.

I love that So Rim's friend pretty much fainted when he thought So Rim was fainting! So well done. What a cute and convincing job of it, not to mention the expression on his face. He might clearly have a crush on her I still love how caring her male friends are of her. Wanting to protect her.

More the the past between Crude Play is revealed. Not to mention more of Han Kyeol. The reality behind his choices and maybe the joy of music has become blurred by the harsh realities of the industry. True no one knows how hard it is for him, but then he doesn't really open up to other people.

I really don't have much idea about The Liar and His Lover. I'm trying to keep it that way! I do like the feel of this story. Though Han Kyeol, despite back story, is simply a jerk at this point. I won't lie I'm a bit creeped that So Rim is in High School. Thankfully she is a senior so technically things could get less creepy.

Overall I think this is a very fun and bright feel to it. I do have a soft spot for dramas with music and singing dreams. I also like the slightly more adult feel (Han Keyol's now ex-girlfriend and the CEO).

Min Hyeok's jealousy is so cute.

Min Hyeok's jealousy is so cute. Especially when he was making fun of her when she was going into work! That said I don't like all this cut away stuff for the cliffhangers. She recognized the villain by his voice, but we pick up with her losing him in the crowd as she searches. Also, her friend becoming a victim was an obvious and boring choice. Especially since Bong Soon confronts him and doesn't make sure he's down for the count before rushing over to her friend. Just one absent minded backhand and that jerk would have been outta the picture. Is that too much to ask for? She knocked a guys teeth out accidently. I think being faced with such a villain her emotions would have overcome her and made her do more.

Even the guy on the train ended up with a broken finger!

Oh! What's with Gook Doo's girlfriend and Bong Soon's brother? They are totally both betraying Gook Doo. You could even see the moment when Bong Soon's brother was like okay, yeah she's pursuing me. At least the girlfriend should break up with Good Doo.

Oh, and yes Gook Doo's butt is amazing. Those pants are practically poured on. Even a straight man couldn't help but notice. ^_- Min Hyeok is nothing if not observant. He even picked up that Gook Doo likes Bong Soon too. So it's not so much one sided love.

The music of Strong Woman Do Bong Soon is practically its own character. I truly loved it and all the sound affect noises. Sometimes that style can be super annoying. Such as a lot of K-drama comedies use a rooster noise instead of a laugh track. However, the choices have been so clever and actually enhance the wacky storytelling style of the drama.

Bong Soon's mom is so terrible but I love her! Sneaking the lacey thong and bras in. He-he. What a twist. All three main characters will be crashing at CEO's. I love it. Though to be honest Gook Doo's personality kind of makes him unlikable.

Chipmunk poop up your sleeve. Oh, yeah. This was "Truly atrocious."

Wow. I am so glad I have seen these actors all in other works. Thank goodness. If this had been my first time watching Lee Joon Gi based off this, I would probably never watch anything with him in it again! Goes for all the actors that I so. Wow. So bad. What was the director thinking? He has a how stable of talented actors, and he wanted them to act like that. It was all so awkward and over the top.

I watched Blood while it aired and sure it was campy and had a rough start. But this. I can't believe the updates I got for how amazing Scholar Who Walks the Night was and Blood got bashed. I. Just. No.

Firstly, the story is all over the place. The scenes keep cutting and jumping. It's hard to go from Sung Yeol reading the Crown Prince's book, to realizing that it's real. While there is no transition and there's flashbacks . . . that could have been sequenced into the timeline to I don't know, connect that the book was real? Point A to point B. I get it. The writers wanted to rush to the centauries ahead time jump. As soon as I can I'm gonna look up the writer and director. Cause if they have previous work before this . . . I'll be shocked.

Gwi. Oh, poor-poor Lee Soo Hyuk. Even his sheer sex appeal couldn't save his villainess character. Sure I melt at his voice and he has some of the least over the top acting. (Which is still over the top, just more toned done for this drama.) The hair though!! It's like someone wanted to emulate Interview with a Vampire's wigs . . . but then they went beyond too far. It's not a campy villain. It's just awkward.

Not to mention all the vamping out scenes. Sung Yeol's transformation was so painful to watch. So painful that I was reduced to laughing. In fact, I spent so much of this episode laughing at the sheer stupidity of it. This crap here is what gives vampire--and the whole supernatural genre--a tacky name.

I am so tempted to drop this drama now!! The writing is atrocious, the director is crap judging from the way the show is pieced together and the way these WONDERFUL actors are acting, and the music!!!! The music is painful. The whole time that music was playing during the love scene and then into the evil lair . . . I wanted to shoot whoever decided that blending those two styles to make romantic violin music and corny carnival tunes a thing.

I could ramble on forever. It's been a while since I've watched a first episode this bad. The will to drop it is so strong. I do not want to even give it 3 more episodes.

Oh, and how does the female and male leads first interactions go? She just played find the chipmunk in his garments. Of course the chipmunk bit her and now he's vamping out and got to hide it. Firstly, sexual innuendo overload. Secondly, where does that chipmunk poop? If he's living in her sleeve that means she's got . . . chipmunk poop in there. Which is ironic as I think that's the perfect way to sum up this episode. Chipmunk poop up your sleeve.

Okay. Okay, I'll stop. I'm upsetting myself.
