10/10 - Old Dong Baek dies, new Dong Baek raises her head!

Ja Young is way cool. Love how she just turned on her pervert husband. She even planned ahead. I wonder if she new that Gyu Tae would try to steal the ledger of his sins. I love that the other women started to hate on Dong Baek, but all it took was one woman to say the men deserved it. They they all started to grudgingly respect her. I hope Dong Baek meant what she said to Gyu Tae when she made him apologize and drop the lawsuits. That the old Dong Baek is dead. She’s going to be strong now. Yong Shik has her holding her head up high! Yong Shik is so shocked that Dong Baek didn’t turn him down for dumplings. After the talk Dong Baek had with Duk Soon that she should see if she truly wants to be with Yong Shik, but that Duk Soon will never approve, I thought it would deter Dong Baek again. Dong Baek admits she has feelings. While Yong Shik reminds her that he had them all first and reaffirms everything. After Yong Shik says love is like fire, Dong Baek shuts that idea down. Yong Shik is unphased saying you’re pushing me away and eats happily. Until Dong Baek says this:
“Steam is all you need to cook dumplings you know. You don’t have to boil them to cook them. Forget fire. Why don’t we just take it slow and be warm together? You can love like fire, but it’s all over when you break up.”She explains all the loves in her life that burned like fire went out. They leave her. So she wants to stay warm for a long time. I love the idea of not loving like fire, but loving like steam. He-he. Yong Shik is still very determined to solve the murder and we end with him deciding on how he will find Joker. He is a native, but isn’t the police Chief? Or maybe he isn’t and that’s why he makes those comments about the women of the area. OH, yeah! I remember ending up there was a demotion. So maybe he wasn’t a native when he originally was placed there.

7.0/10 - Ah, their a cute couple.

Let’s address this “Only love you sign.” It just cracks me up the more I see it! What Dong Baek’s employee isn’t saying is that lurking like that is creepy! He’s a stalker! AT least she got Jong Ryul to go in and eat. (Yes, his wife is starving him!) Though I don’t like how Dong Baek uses Yong Shik as a buffer. She encourages him only because she needs to stick it to Jong Ryul. I love how Dong Baek and Yong Shik start the walk with her carrying the backpack, and then as she gets more comfortable Yong Shik has the backpack. He learns that she is one tough cookie and that despite him saying he’d protect her that she doesn’t need to be rescued. She’s bold and brave. Just because she doesn’t “bark” like everyone, doesn’t mean she isn’t tough. Then he ruins it by saying she’s sexy! Dong Baek smacks him and takes the backpack away! Yes, yes. Yong Shik finally has a since of duty!!! LOL, the Chief is so dense sometimes. At least the Chief has drive and he genuinely cares about the Joker and Dong Baek. He is one of the few people who sympathized with her plight. Gosh, I really hope that women in Dong Baek’s shoes, and widows, aren’t truly treated like that! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh! I just love how Dong Baek and Duk Soon refer to each other as besties!! Not to mention that Yong Shik finally realizes his mom and Dong Baek are best friends! Now Dong Baek is gonna find out that Yong Shik is Duk Soon’s son. I wonder how Duk Soon will handle it. I’d think she’d be happy her son has such good taste. My final thoughts are seeing Jong Ryul take and interest in Pil Goo. What a cute kid! Not to mention noticing that the kid doesn’t like carrots or cucumbers like him, and that Pil Goo will grow up. I wonder if Pil Goo will guess that Jong Ryul is his dad? He’s a really smart kid. I don’t see why it’s so sad that Pil Goo already has a sense for money. I’ve grown up that why. I use to plan out how to by things as a kid down to the penny on the taxes for it. But I guess some people wipe their butts with dollar bills. ^_-

7.0/10 - Some major clues dropped for the Joker!!

Wow, I love that Yong Shik put it together so fast! Well it makes a lot of sense now. Dong Baek moved in then the Joker killings started, and she ended up being a witness to a murder. Fiddle sticks. Talk about being a black sheep because your single and have a child. But to be “marked” by a serial killer. Wow, so she did almost go out of business then. Because the police and media branded her a prostitute or immoral woman. The cops even stayed in the building so she couldn’t make money. Ah, Yong Shik is so awesome this episode. He might be weird, but I like his honesty and sincerity. I think he's smarter then he gives himself credit for as well. I wish Jong Ryul was more of a lead. I’ve loved the actor, Kim Ji Suk, since Another Miss Oh. So far he's a very basic setup and not a very likable love interest from what we know. What is given is that he is also clearly very much not over Dong Baek. His own team mates don't know his wife's name, but anyone that he's been drunk around knows Dong Baek. He's still very much in love, or at least obsessed, with her. Now he's being a creeper to though! Parking outside of her restaurant/house. Making judgements about her!!! Oh, so she can't move on and have a life. -_- Ah, so the Joker is a regular customer!! What a big reveal!!!!!!!!! So we know he's a regular at Dong Baek's place. The year is 2013 right now in the storyline, and he wrote that message not too log ago. He also has flour on his shoes. So he probably works in the area at the many places you can eat.

6.0/10 - Boy he jumped at the chance to be "dating" fast.

Yong Shik’s not sure why Dong Baek held his hand, but boy is he gonna work it! That mutt indeed!!! He jumps right in and I thought all that he said was a confession. I can’t believe that everyone gets so worked up over a hand hold still!! Dong Baek at least was blunt that she was declining his advances. She just sadly worked him up and used him! Plus, dissed him hard.“What was that? Was that a declaration of war, or a love confession?” - Dong BaekI can’t believe those women want to get Dong Baek evicted. Aren’t their husbands gonna blow the money somewhere else? Is it so hard to put themselves the shoes of a single mother? They only leave Yong Shik’s mother alone because she’s older and “not a threat”. They fear Dong Baek’s youth and beauty. When it’s all the men’s fault. After 6 years she’s never had an affair, and dated. WTF! Not only that but to lie and say that Dong Baek is having an affair with Mr. No. The wife is right. Your man wants to cheat he will. Whether or not the single mom running the bar is there. But she thinks she has his balls in a vice and even if Dang Baek came on to him he wouldn’t cheat. Men are fickle creatures and once they think with the little head . . . . (Also, it’s always impressive to see a woman driving? What year is this drama taking place? These women run their own businesses!!?)Holly crap! Did that dude just assume she was single because she was driving and a working women. I know other women drive in other dramas. Is this a problem? Yikes! This means Ja Young, Mr. No’s wife, should feel for Dong Baek’s plight. The plight on discriminated and judged women!! Well I was gonna tell Mr. No that she had a kid to feed, but apparently she is snubbing him! I wonder if Donog Baek’s waitress knew what to do to get Mr. No to refocus his affections. “I respect you.” Now his wife shows up and I’m ticked with her! WTF!! This is a single mother. Why would you turn anyone out on the streets for the actions of another. Ah, I was wondering were that whole fight scene with Mr. No and Yong Shik was going. He sees the words from the killer on the wall. I’m starting to wonder if Dong Baek was the witness from the murder. Not to mention if she picked up on her employees hint. Some men only want a woman who keeps turning them down. Sounds like Mr. No?

7.0/10 - Dong Baek's dream is to just be treated well.

Poor Yong Shik is probably not going to be in good standing with Dong Baek. The kid doesn’t say why he’s getting into fights. But he knows people bully his mom. Just as they bully him. So when he has to stand up for his mom all that anger comes out and he lets her have it. He is the child she should be aware of what she needs to do to protect him. Of course the kids are going to pick on him for the same reasons the adults do!! It’s awful that these are people who can’t even fill shame when they finally push someone to tears. Instead they find fault in her being pretty and crying. Even though I doubt she’s burst into tears before. A boy stands up to them for his mother and they still can’t be moved to be decent people!! Oooooo, I love a show and a female lead who doesn’t beat around the bush. Much like Jong Ryul says. I wonder what the big reveal will be for the break up. Jong Ryul didn’t want a kid, or Dong Baek decided she didn’t want to “ruin” his career. Ah, I love how Yong Shik asked to be friends! But I hate that Dong Baek decided to use him to confuse Jong Ryul. Now poor Yong Shik is asking if they are dating!! I wish he would have stayed calmer. After all what she needs right now is to be treated well and have a friend on her side.

7.0/10 - Dong Baek has a great kid on her hands.

“I told you five years ago not to be a joke.” More stunned reaction from Yong Shik, but I don’t think it’s her. It’s relief from him that it's not Dong Baek. Guess this is how each episode will start until we catch up to that scene. It’s sweet he wants to walk her there safely, but he can’t see how it’s also a threat to her. Men are scummy, weirdo, pervs who can use gentlemanly actions to get what they want. Especially after Mr. No just tried to dominate her. Honestly Mr. No likes his butt kissed. Also, I agree with Yong Shik sounds like he to win people with money. His wife makes him feel inferior, so he needs to make others feel inferior and people to praise him. All the other men backing him up like that is wrong! "You’re bad mouthing her for not liking you. " So true! You're not a good person if you do this to people and I love that Yong Shik can also fight back with words of truth. What a smart kid! Dong Baek has a great kid on her hands. He's smart to realize that he needs to comfort and reasure his mother. Plus, his rational seems so well thought out. Like he's waited for his mom to ask, and he's already put a lot of thought into whether or not he wants to meet his dad. It's sad seeing the kids bully him, but then the women do it to Dong Baek. It's just insane that the women blame her for all the ills that happen in the area. Especially for another business woman to think that Dong Baek should refund her for her husband spending the money there. I wanted Dong Baek to say "can your husband refund the booze and food!" It's sweet that Duk Soon [Yong Shik's mother] comes to her rescue. Duk Soon helps Dong Bake and respects her because when she was a young attractive widow they shamed her. Which is awful. There was no difference between her losing her husband and Dong Baek being single because the men flirted. Why is it shameful to be a single mom and to work to feed your family? This stigma on women has always bothered me. We've come a long way in the States, but there's still a Stigma. Right down to our paychecks. I liked that Yong Shik had such a frank conversation with the kid. The kid gives his stamp of approval! Like I said the kid is smart. He realizes that Yong Shik understands him. Whether or not the kid is giving approval of Yong Shik for his mom. He realizes he's a figure he needs in his life. "My lady who is also filled with twists has a son. " Yong Shik reaction is perfect to realizing how the kids mom is. Sidenotes: So it looks like Dong Baek's comment about her being able to see the kids dad anytime hints heavily to me, and the dolphin comment, that Jong Ryul, the baseball guy, is probably the father. At first I thought Jong Ryul might be Yong Shik's older brother, but I'm doubting it. That would also be too much to have all three brothers jumping for the female lead. I think one of the brothers should like Dong Baek's employee.

7.0/10 -It's so weird seeing Kang Ha Neul play such a weirdo.

Yikes awful first meeting. It had all the makings of a good one since it was in a bookstore! It also looks like that geranium bracelet is on Dong Baek’s wrist. Though it’s weird seeing actor Kang Ha Neul play such a creepy character. I was quirky in Twenty, and a dream in Scarlet Heart Ryoe, but now he’s just off. He gave me the pervy vibes for a quite a while. I liked that he admits “She’s pretty and that’s a fact.” At least he’s honest that his real action to Dong Baek is her looks. It’s nice that he does think Dong Baek is cool when she stands up for herslef and tells that guy off. “I think he is a weirdo.” Ha-ha. I one hunderd percent agree with Dong Baek ‘s thoughts. Clearly that’s his personality. He never grew out of it. It’s good that So Dong Baek gets judged because that lawyers husband is scum. Despite 6 years the woman still give her such a hard time and judge her. Her actions should speak for her. I like that Dong Baek quietly stands up for herself. I thought when her employee said she was a hippopotamus that she’d start raging or something. I like her quiet bravery. It’s reassuring that Yong Shik decided to help her by getting the money from her skivvy land lord. Basically the creep wants her to be a floozy, not a friend. Smile for me, let me touch you, give me free things despite the fact that you need money as a single mom. You’re property that’s the role of a woman. Sighs At least it’s not too in your face here. Subtle is good. Because anyone can see what that slime ball is doing. So Dong Baek is clearly being watched. By the Joker we assume from the information we’ve been told. A killer who quit for a while. Now flashback to the body. It is confirmed that Yong Shik is the police officer. But we don’t get to see the woman’s face. Yong Shik’s reaction could be relief. I think it is.

7.0/10 - A fun start!

Whoa. So a cop’s wife/woman/love interest is killed. “The woman with the geranium bracelet.” So we don’t know if this is past or present. Way to start up the mystery. Oh, and I want that bracelet! I really love anything and everything geraniums. I love them! Dong Baek vogue it girl. I just love how all the men and most of the woman are all enchanted by her. I’m entranced by her hair! Though I wonder way she can’t she just say she’s a widow to deal with those judging her? It’s not such a big deal in the States like it is in Korea, and most Asian countries. I do like that no matter how shy she is Dong Baek is honest and stands up for herself. And Yong Shik’s (I’ll talk about in the next paragraph) is more open minded. What’s the difference if she’s widowed or not? She’s a single mom like her! (FYI I love the actress playing his mom.) So Yong Shik. We first meet in the start of a flash back. It’s one heck of meeting! We start with him as a youth and he looks awkward and timid. He looks scared witless then BAM! he’s beating the crap out of the bank robber. He was probably thinking about everyone’s hard earned cash. Haha!! He kept catching the bad guys again and again! He got to many awards they just decided to make him a cop!!!!! Though he’s too rash. So he’s promoted to Seoul where he thinks he’ll find a Seoul woman, but ends up getting demoted back to his country life. I wonder if moving to the area was a calculated move by Dong Baek. Woman get to be in charge of these businesses and there men are just their employees. So of course they want to escape and eat somewhere else, and drink. I love how they talk about the women being in charge there and running the area. Not to mention that they never thought she’d succeed and she was successful for 6 years!!! Oh, my gosh! Dong Baek’s son is so cute and protective. Telling those guys not to disrespect her and talk to her casually. To call her CEO! He’s so bold, probably because he’s learned to stand up for himself and his mom. It’s not that he takes after his dad. Those lame idiots! I can’t wait to get to know him more. Huh, so they introduce is to another man. Okay, so the other guy is an athlete with a selfish wife. They’re a celebrity couple and I’m wondering if she really gave birth to their baby? Jong Ryul clearly is left to take care of the kid as they apparently don’t even live together. To end the episode there’s this hint of Dong Baek being watched as she takes her son home. Queue creepy music!

7.0/10 - Major plots paying off, but bored.

The wiretapper is definitely starting to realize that he saves/protects his enemies and that he helps destroy those that "treat him like a human." That would be an awful job. He did lie about them being home, but I hope he realizes that he has all the tools to be super powerful. He has ways to get condeming information not to mention all the dirt he already has. This episode actually bored me a lot. All the plots are lining up, but I felt so bored. Yes, the pacing really dwelled too long on certain parts. Seo Dan also greatly disappointed me. She'd rather Jung Hyuk be dead if she can't have him. She might be cooling down, but she went there.Hmmmm. I'm wondering if the men who took Se Ri are the lieutenant's men. I think they're Jung Hyuk's dads. Now Se Ri's dad might actually find out she is a live. Oh, and Se Ri has had a revelation about why X-mas was so important to her employees. The people you care about make these things real.I think this episode was a more of a let down. All the major plots and scare are happening. But I was bored. Great romantic moments and revelations, but it was all over shadowed by the lame pacing. Sometimes that happens.

7.0/10 - Trust your gut girl!!

I know that Se Ri really wants to believe that her family, AKA brothers, wouldn't try to kill her. Well she doesn't quite know that yet, but they'd be happy she's alive. Se Ri knows that Seung Jun is a lyer, not only that she knows her brothers and family best. I hope she finds out the truth. It really weighed this episode down. Even Seo Dan knows the truth about Se Ri now. Se Ri needs to know the truth about her family and Seung Jun. Oh, and because of family ties on the death of a member they absorb the company. I wonder thought what if there's a will? I would think Se Ri would have thought of that and flipped them the bird by making sure they couldn't take her hard work. Honestly I think I might be more upset that her company is going to be robbed from her. There was some sweet moments here. Of course. It's just a lot of posturing and build up. *sighs* I'm weak. Can't believe the kiss happened and it's denial every where. Even though they're both confronted with the truth. I feel like this drama will only end well when they both meet again in Switzerland. I love how much their paths truly crossed in Switzerland. Se Ri even hears the song!!Questions are left to what both jealous Seo Dan and Seung Jun are going to do. Seung Jun has to decided whether to keep being a con man or a human. Not to mention I think Seo Dan needs to break up the marriage for her. I'd like her to stand up for herself. I wonder if the wiretapper is not going to be part of the who anymore? Is it done? Hmmmm, that feels off. The 5th Company was so happy to see her and that Jung Hyung was alive! Ah! Still this episode was more stagnant trying to build up the drama! Things I loved. Well I respect Se Ri for her favorite movie being Mad Max: Fury Road. Talk about Se Ri always jumping around with her wants and moods, Jung Hyuk really ripped into her. Which lead to our first kiss. That is kind of ignored, but not. But they're denying their emotions. Yada. All the tie ins are happening and it was nice seeing Jung Hyuk being a few steps ahead of the Lieutenant. So here's to hoping the next episode builds up momentum again. Oh, and I really loved seeing Seo Dan watch her mother deal with the country people and them deal with her!

8.0/10 - "I made a promise to her . . .

For a moment I thought I was going to be giving this episode a 7 out of 8. There were a number of things that didn't quite sit right. Like Se Ri suddenly falling a sleep on Jung Hyuk's shoulder. Or the villain so easily slipping his leash, though I was impressed with is foresight to make sure he had all the right people blackmailed and indebted. Or as one said "in the same boat". Corrupt men helping corrupt men. Or that moment when Se Ri talks about how her family is pretty happy she's dead. Jung Hyuk can't believe her family would be like that. We see Se Ri's eyes tear up and yearn for that to be the truth. But we the viewers know the truth. Not to mention we see the more horrifying truth come to light. As Se Ri has no one to turn to for help. She still can't see the full truth. That she's not fully reading con man Seung Jun could completely sell her out. Or that even her family would want her to stay in North Korea. Even the drama with Jung Hyuk's wedding suddenly moving up and Seo Dan circling in. But I think Seo Dan is wondering. She wants love, but maybe is realizing she won't get it and Jung Hyuk is to honorable. Then I realized I was clutching my heart through almost the entire episode. I felt it tremble when during this scene with these words:
Jung Hyuk: "You said I'm your bodyguard who needs to protect you. I can't protect you when I can't see you"
Se Ri: "Is that why you're upset? Because you couldn't see me?"
Jung Hyuk: "So you should stay in my sight."
Se Ri: "What if I stay within your sight?"
Jung Hyuk: "Then you'll be safe. As long as you stay in my sight."I dare anyone to not be moved to joy, laughter, sadness, and just all kinds feels during that whole picnic with Se Ri and the 5th Company. Not to mention that end scene, before the flashback in which we get to see what Jung Hyuk was doing while absent from the picnic. Not to mention the disappointment that I felt when the wiretapper didn't tap up. He was destroyed but was will to let another horrible act go. When will he realize that Se Ri and Jung Hyuk are friends and that he can stand up to the bullies. He's got the power. "I made a promise to her that as long as she's in my sight i will protect her no matter what." - Jung Hyuk

8.0/10 - “The trouble happened right?”

The opening OST song is growing on me, but I wish is was better. I think by the end of the drama I’ll finally be in love with it. I think I’m just spoiled. I love me some great OST. Like Goblin, Another Miss Oh, Healer, or Angry Mom. You hear anything from their OST line up and you just know!Okay, so the Lieutenant has figured out that Se Ri is not part of District 11. Man did he take things crazy far with 5th Company so fast!! Scary! Good thing Se Ri used the ladies coming over comforting her about Jung Hyuk cheating as a chance to push for the Head Wife to talk her husband into giving him a promotion!!! Though I wonder how this will tie in with this new plan to get Se Ri out of North Korea. All the plot threads are really getting expertly weaved here. All the connections to the wiretapper. Se Ri sticking up for his son. The wiretappers connections to Jung Hyuk’s brother and how Jung Hyuk has helped him. The wiretapper is a pitying character, and I hope he can realize how powerful he is! So Se Ri and Jung Hyuk’s relationship went from the romantic scented candle light house moment. To off the rails. As she says Jung Hyuk is swoon worthy and made her heart flutter with his skilled player movies. To arguing with him about his real fiancee. To which she tells him his stupid and that could blow up. Jung Hyuk tells her he thought a head and is smarter. So when fiancee Seo Dan is standing outside his house waiting I felt so satisfied when Se Ri said “The trouble happened right?” Which the snoopy woman of the village saw, which is the cheating bit I talked about. We’re treated to Jung Hyuk pouting over Se Ri. While we get a bigger reveal about Se Ri’s past relationships. AND the tie into thief/con man Seung Jun. Also a frank conversation where Se Ri confides in Jung Hyuk about life being like a train and admitting she tried to get off. I think he understood. All of the characters and plot threads are really lining up! From her family to the con man. To the characters in North Korea. I like that Seung Jun respects Se Ri and realizes that she was the smartest one in that family. Not only did Se Ri know he was a conman, but she let him dupe her brother. What an ending and meet up!

8.0/10 - Smile on!

This episode just kept me smiling. Writer Park Ji Eun just keeps hitting me with all these cute moments. Like after Se Ri goes a bit crazy thinking she's just gonna rogue paraglide over the border back to South Korea (for a woman who claims to always make the right call . . . ) and there's this intense personal moment where Se Ri and Jung Hyuk understand each other. Not to mention that he makes her special coffee which leads to this cute finger heart moment. (Unless that's not what that means and Ju Muk ((5th companies drama expert)) doesn't know.) To Se Ri trying to get Jung Hyuk promoted. To him still trying to keep her cheered up with a claim cook out with 5th Company. It was so sweet seeing him look over to see how she's reacting. Then she peeks at him and my cynical heart melts! Not to mention how much I have come to love the 5th Company and everyone's personalities. They're all individuals, but the interact so well. I just love them!! Especially as the tease Jung Hyuk about him not being a player with a fiances else where . . . to which they see his reaction and freak out that he does!! >_< Speaking of fiances I almost feel bad for Seo Dan as she travels to get to Jung Hyuk. It's just too fun. It's clear by her coolness to Seung Jun that they're being setup! Though I love how the driver and other guy react to Seung Jun being snubbed by Seo Dan. I totally believe that the wiretapper is gonna be won over by Se Ri and Jung Hyuk! From Jung Hyuk helping to get his wallet back to the wiretapper totally enthralled to the fun at the oyster party. Oh, and I think Se Ri also helped the wiretapper's wife at the birthday party. Overall I really love all the different plot devices and pacing. These flashbacks that Se Ri and her mother are having makes me think that Se Ri's mom had her play hide and seek and tried to abandon her. The flashbacks and the panic Se Ri had to being alone in the market. Wow. The slow reveal of the leads pasts are intense. Speaking of intense!! The after credit scene!!!!!!!! WAS SE RI STILL THINKING OF COMMITTING SUICIDE? The recording she was making for her family seemed like it, but then when Jung Hyuk asked her to take that picture she seemed afraid of the hieght. Or did that just snap her out of it? These Switzerland connections are turning out so beautifully to Se Ri and Jun Hyuk's story. So this is episode 4. Like I had any doubts, but I will be going forward with this drama!!! Yeah!!

Onions wither and die when they hear bad words?

"Onions wither and die when they hear bad words? " What I love about writer Park Ji Eun is how sweet and important the little stuff is. From Jung Hyuk putting that handkerchief into Se Ri's hair to make her fit in with the other women, and her giving it back. To Se Ri not giving him a certificate (which those soldier's just ate up!!!) and giving him a gift of a tomato. To say 10 kind things too and water. The stories this writer weaves always centers around the power of small gestures. This was a great episode for discovering more about Jung Hyuk. Even his own men didn't know he could lie! When he told the villagers and that evil Lieutenant that Se Ri was from South Korea I was shocked!!! Boom! Mind blown, then the twist that he's saying she's part of "District 11". He-he. A spy! I also didn't pick up on the importance of what Se Ri found in Jung Hyuk's books. That she realized he was in Switzerland, which is what made that flashback. Se Ri is right, you can learn so much about someone from their books. I loved her talking to herself, well he was silent in the other room, as she pondered about how much she learned. Wondering if he really played the piano, the discovery that Se Ri does too, and then her asking if his girlfriend plays! Queue the reveal that this other woman is saying she's Jung Hyuk's fiance! ^_- Gotta get that love obstacle/triangle in. Which of course shows us her crossing the path of the thief seeking safety in North Korea. I'm really curious how that's all gonna tie in. So the big reveal is a this guy we say who stole the engine to keep the lights on for his family so his son can study had a hand in Jung Hyuk's brother's death. The guy has a heart and it killed him. After we also learn that on the night big brother was killed he was thinking of Jung Hyuk and how much he loved his brother. *sniffles* The wire tap guy goes through the wringer as he listens to talks of dramas, in which Se Ri seems suspiciously like a spy/killer! Also, all her crazy kindness. Giving food to a beggar child. Which I love is a bonding moment for Jung Hyuk and Se Ri. To crazy talk about onions. Though that did leave for a sweet little after credits scene!! >_< I hope this wire tapper guy can become an alley. There is a huge concern I have. How can Se Ri's family sale her business. I think on of her employees hinted that her company was tied into her dad's. But I thought she said she left and started her company on her own. Is it tied in because she's a woman? Or how does this whole thing work!!? Don't let her lose her company. It's interesting seeing all her family members jockeying for position. Though her Sister-in-Law is clearly the true threat. You'll no which one. ^_-All the South Korean drama talk is so hilarious. It makes me wonder if North Korean's can actually watch them? What would they think? This episode stepped it up and I love getting to know Jung Hyuk more. He's human and I love it. The humor is excellent and I love the soldier guys as the become their own characters. I love it when a drama gives me real human interactions. It makes the humor and emotions so real. Though I'm very nervous about Se Ri's boat being stopped and boarded (though it's so sweet that despite contemplating killing her Jung Hyuk isn't going to let her go by herself), and is that how their first kiss happens!!! O_o

7.0/10 - Gosh I love the humor and this cast!

Ha-ha! I knew it!! Se Ri went left instead of right! I wonder what made her think that Jung Hyuk would lead her astray. Se Ri believes she can read people and situations, but it’s clear it’s her weakness. From not believing that Jung Hyuk was an honest person. To actually thinking she was seducing him whilst he pondered killer her. Which oddly enough makes Jung Hyuk more personable and human. Because true to writer Park Ji Eun’s form she makes Jung Hyuk this cool and aloof lead with a powerful family. So it’s nice, even though it’s dark, to see some human aspect. Because Ji Eun really likes her male leads to be these “perfect men” who eventually have “human quirks”. But were lead to believe they’re perfect. Sure Jung Hyuk ends up buying everything that Se Ri nagged him about, but that’s to be expected of a Park Ji Eun leading man. Park Ji Eun brilliantly displays her brand of humor. The soldiers teasing Se Ri and one in particular threatening to kill her constantly. I think I love this writer because she perfectly blends quirky humor with romance, melodrama, and darker themes. It’s not just one character with one brand of weird humor. They all stand out on their own and manage to be funny. It’s a true treat of this writer that she can do that. I mean who knew prayers could be so hilarious, while being dark? I mean Se Ri’s sister in law is pretty much thanking god for her death/missing and is all but asking God to make her husband the head of the company at all costs. That extra touch of someone else praying next to her for Se Ri’s safe return, but the twist is it’s for selfish and cold reasons. This episode also reveals that not only is Jung Hyuk slumming it as a no name guy when he’s got real connections, but that something happened to his brother. Jung Hyuk has a goal to solve a mystery as to what accident befell his brother and many other people. It’s also revealed that Jung Hyuk isn’t up against just illegal artifact stealing and smuggling, but apparently these people protect criminals in a kind of protective service. Which leads me to wonder how this thief is gonna tie in to the plot besides just robbing Se Ri’s brother? Can I just say I thought Se Ri could have been smarter about having all the lights on in the house? I mean common sense is that others probably know that Jung Hyuk is out of town. She’s in danger, be more cautiuos!! Not to mention hiding better! Oh, well. I NEW she’d end up having to play Jung Hyuk’s fiance. I just didn’t figure that Jung Hyuk would come up with the idea. The next true to form storyline of Park Ji Eun is to come up with ways that the leads knew each other before they finally “met” for the current storyline. Let me tell you it was a whammy!! Se Ri already revealed that she learned paragliding in Switzerland. But BOOM! I’m hit in the face with the truth as to why she was there. As she takes in the life saving scenery of Switzerland and is dazzled by paragliding Jung Hyuk walks up beside her. Tying in the opening OST theme. That they’ve crossed paths even while being in different worlds. The whole end/extra is powerful. Which only cements why I love writer Park Ji Eun so much.
