did not expect to like it this much
I randomly came across this show and started watching it because Chen zheyuan was the main lead. went in with zero expectations but I was pleasantly surprised. the pacing of the story was very well done. usually in period dramas some episodes get a little slow, but it was not the case with this show. the storyline was also pretty good with no unnecessary plots. and the acting was very well done and the emotions of every scene were excellently portrayed by everyone. I would have liked to see a more intense battle scene at the climax, but other than that it was a pretty amazing show. definitely worth watching.❤️
