I cannot get past episode 4 with this drama...i was looking forward to liking it. Hope I'm not the only one who…
It depends on why you don't like it. My husband checked out after the 1st episode because he didn't like FL's character but I kept watching it. He got back into it about mid-way through i.e. he was more interested in everything else.
After rewatching Love Between Fairy and Devil (for like a millionth time), I noticed that XLH finally falls in…
Love to me is when you're willing to do something for someone you normally wouldn't do. Her unwillingness to stay in CLH and her reaction to the kiss in 13 indicated to me that her feelings weren't quite there yet. She cared about him but I'm not sure love really started blossoming until after she started to get to know him better (about when he rescued her from Rong Hao in Haishi City.
I've noticed that this happens with quite a few newer Netflix kdramas and cdramas. Either they have a broadcast agreement with iQiyi or they're experimenting with release schedules. in this case I think. Either way though, they've been pretty much dropping new episodes every day so I think all the episodes will be available eventually - you just might have to wait a little longer.
I dont understand. Doesn't Rong hao love God of war and doesn't he think orchid is in some form her? So why's…
Rong Hao's master was the Goddes of War, Chidi. Orchid is someone else. If you're talking about who ChengHeng is supposed to marry, it's the Goddess of XiShan :)
I dont understand what's this mortal heart meaning in the conversation between RH and chidi. he said he had one…
I understood it as having an individual desire that contradicts fate/destiny as opposed to an ethereal one where you choose the greater good over yourself or what is meant to be. i.e. Chidi chose to change Rong Hao's fate due to sympathy and Rong Hao chose to destroy the world to revive Chidi.
So only chidi and DQFC is strong enough to hold evil God? So how does goddess xishun play into destroying evil…
Xishun has the power to purify evil but I'm guessing it's like what Rong Hao did - she'd have to burn her own spirit for the power to purify the amount of evil Tai Su had.
Anyone else think it's funny that ShangQue missed both the major battles between ShuiYunTian and the Moon Tribe. He missed the one from 30K years ago (or he would have been sealed along with everything else I assume) and he missed the one in episode 31 because he was drugged lol
Ok.. https://youtu.be/f2fePsK1Q4A. Episode 36https://youtu.be/61nYDp6qIaM. Episode 26so if you watch episode 26…
That's what I think will happen too. It seems like events will push DFCQ to be possessed for whatever reason and TaiSu will be destroyed through their combined effort (love). Can't say how I feel about that though - it means DFCQ will be suffering right until the end - the guy needs a break! That, and the cocky DFCQ I fell in love with isn't coming back b/c he won't (re)gain superpowers until XLH and him are back together
Also, I'm still waiting for DFCQ to become OP again. I'll readily admit his domineering attitude was one of the…
Hmm. That might have to be explained more in the drama then, I think. You could say XLH "healed" him when she killed herself but that's a stretch considering that we've been told repeatedly that he can't fully control hellfire unless he's free of emotions and it's clearly not the case with him right now lol. I would expect him to regain his power or manifest a different type of power through his love with XLH but I don't feel like we're at the point yet in the story. He has to 1) get past the grief 2) (as you said), have a reason to use the power, first I think
1) Episode 31 - DFCQ says that he wiped out the Xishan clan but it was Rong Hao who actually finished them off…
Good point. These previews are so misleading in terms of showing what happens in the episodes I found lol. Hopefully they'll wrap up everything nicely in the next 4 episodes!
So I've been following the show and like everyone else here, been pretty much fangirling it but there's been a…
Also, I'm still waiting for DFCQ to become OP again. I'll readily admit his domineering attitude was one of the things I really liked about his character and what drew me to this drama. All this loss and pain (for both of them) has been a little too much. As it stands now, he's lost more due to love than he's gained from it. I'm really hoping the remaining episodes will make all this sacrifice (from both of them) worth it. No more weakling DFCQ please lol
So I've been following the show and like everyone else here, been pretty much fangirling it but there's been a…
1) Episode 31 - DFCQ says that he wiped out the Xishan clan but it was Rong Hao who actually finished them off (even if DFCQ may have started it). I faintly recall DFCQ saying he couldn't be bothered to remember everyone he's killed but that might be from the novel. I don't recall him ever saying anything about him wiping them out in the earlier episodes when he was learning about Xishan to restore XLH's power in the beginning. So this kind of sticks out as a sort of "plot hole" to me and bothers me because everything else in the story has been so tight.
2) Episode 32 - DFCQ says he'll take the slap from the Dragon because all he did was hurt XLH. Like what? Okay, he wasn't always nice to her but over the last few episodes, he's given up/lost so much because of her - control over hellfire, the way to unseal the warriors, ability to save his clan; And in all intents and purposes, it looked like he was willing to sacrifice himself to save his clan and her. As much as XLH was willing to give up everything for him, he was willing to do the same. Now suddenly everything is his fault?
