Watched some parts of the old version and there were at least three rape attempts by the male lead (twice with…
I watched so many lakorns I should be used to these things by now lol.
Apparently in the original it turned out to be willing, before that he attempted a few times but she managed to escape
And judging by the teasers and the ost mv he doesn't seem to be too aggressive here
I just hope he's less of a jerk than in the old version..
The rape scene in this drama was so unnecessary, like someone commented below it could have been a sweet love…
I know, I watched a lot of thai lakorns. But I'll never get used to this. Rape is rape, is a crime, no matter how they view it in their culture. It's disgusting how they romanticize it, if they portrayed it as a bad thing okay but make someone fall in love and end up together with their own rapist? That's messed up in so many levels, it's like they're turning real rape victims suffering into a joke, it makes me so angry.
I hope they change that aspect of their culture someday.
Anyway sorry for the long rant lol
Is this like the old version? Because in that review it says that the guy is "a kind and understanding man"…
Well I haven't watched the old version but I know a lot of people who disliked it but loved this one. Here, Sake starts as a cold and distant person, but he begins to change as he lives with Kate. I loved his character development and their slow building romance, it's so cute to watch and there's so much chemistry <3
Also there is no rape here.
You should give it a try :)
