As someone who grew up with the likes of Anita Blake and Anne Rice, awesll as Dracula, i just can't take twilight and the sparkle seriously haha. Also the oh woe is me attitude Edward has grates on me a little. I do agree though that vampirism isn't done well in Asian drama's but at the same time i don't believe it should be.
