Man was really mama’s boy even though he didn’t see her.

Hongye and Fugui have similar personalities and have similar stories. Maybe he didn’t want to end up like his father cuz he saw how his father turned into a different person.

For the future viewers, the main title is Sword Heart of Heaven and Earth actually not Sword and “Beloved”. This must be a male centered drama (it is different than donghua) as the title implies but production team ruined it with a spider storyline. ( both sister and brother)

I am sorry but this is the dumbest idea I ve ever seen. The actress must be responsible for spider story as well if there is love trope between Ml and Fl in donghua. Why do we solely blame actor for it then ?

If the FL wants to get more screen time in this drama , she shouldn’t have done it by stealing from Ml’s or ruining the story’s core. Her spider story including obsessive bro ruined it and Fl’s team is responsible for it not ML.

I randomly chose this drama and finished 6 episodes. An episode for a week definitely is not enough for me. I wish I would’ve waited until it is done.

Wanna watch this one for Liu Xueyi but Ml’s character scares me.

I still can’t believe that they spent 10 episodes on a side character who doesn’t have any effect on storyline and reduced Fugui’s scenes. We could have watched Fugui’s traveling the world with Ru Mu and Fan Yun Fei, finding himself and bonding with his friends if spiders weren’t part of the story. They literally stole from the Fugui’s character development and tried to push him into a love triangle. They are really nuts.

I wish romance part wouldn’t be included and advertised in this drama cuz Fugui’s story was not totally about loving and romancing. His actual story is about his transform from demon slayer who was raised without emotions to a hero who wants to protect the whole world. The conflict between him and Hongye was the main theme of the drama. QT was one of the reasons he changed but she was not the main reason . Fugui was the center of the story if spiders weren’t included and he would do same thing for Ru Mu or Fei Yeye or Yun Fei. He would have changed even if QT doesn’t exist.
