Oh God, I don’t know what’s wrong with me lately! I misunderstood the name of SOKP — I did watch it and liked it a lot. The ML is one of my favorite Chinese actors. And tbh, all the male actors in SOKP are just insanely attractive. I’m drooling again just writing about it 😁

Hey! I had a go at GMP DC starting from ep 13 because I wanted to see if I can still rewatch it, and it’s safe, I can do it 😁 I’ll follow your advice and let it sit for a while, then rewatch it from the beginning. You’re right, it may hit differently.

I stopped watching TTEOTM at the point when they came back to the “present” timeline. I really loved it in the beginning, but it just became too heavy on the fantasy, and I’m not really a fan of xianxia. I would restart it if you’re going to tell me that the ML’s obsession reaches high levels 😉 And yes, I do like the ML.

I’ll give SOKP a try. I watched the trailers but couldn’t find any obsessive scenes between the leads.

Heya, I’m back with a recommendation. If you can bear the pain of watching a mini-drama, check out Affinity. The male lead is highly obsessed with her—I’d give it a 10/10. I’m curious what your score would be😁.
PS: On a side note about my forever obsession with GMP, I forgot to mention that unfortunately I watched the regular version, not the Director’s Cut. What a failure from my part😁. I’m torn between giving the DC version a go and checking out new dramas. If I go for the DC version of GMP, I`ll just start from episode 13,14. I hope to get some clarity of mind though and not rewatch GMP this soon😁.

I've watched The Wolf, it did the trick but not as GMP 😁.
As for LLTG, I've started it, but I abandoned it after the 3rd episode. I like that all the characters surrounding the leads are well-built, but I believe I don't have the patience to watch it. I will not give up on it though. I'll just wait to be in a better mood 🙂.
I'll share some of my dramas that are worthy of your list, as soon as I find them. Maybe you did not watch them 🙂.

I just want to say a huge thank you for your list as I have been looking for titles with obssessive MLs for the last couple of weeks and couldn't find almost anything at this level. I've just finished Goodbye my Princess and I am just lost for words. I feel I cannot find another one as good as this drama. I am 100% aligned with what you wrote about it.

If you are still here, could I kindly ask you to update your amasing list, I'll be checking it from time to time.

Also, if you have the time and want to, could you recommend something similar to GMP? I'm in for hystorical, costume dramas these days and of course obsessive/dark/red flag MLs.
