for people who have concerns about the age gap, there are many dramas of such...Witch's romance, encounter, goblin....heck even Moon Lovers had a pretty big age gap....for some it may seem off but others totally fine....personal judgement, plus when it comes down to crime, romance is never really considered as the main focus, as far as I know, the solving and analysing sometimes even makes it as though we forgot that romance is even a factor here, don't know about this one but it's not really something to get weirded out personally....depends on self and different points of view, all respected...
Any romance in this drama, especially between the leads?
they have a good chemistry and there are 2 kisses between the leads, but the romance factor is very minimal, esp nearing the 2nd half of the series, but too I liked the series cause I like the crime genre....
if the situation was allowed, say if this was something like a kdrama, I have a feeling, Si Yi's character would love Lu Ke's character some what different, a GL(if that's what they call it) maybe....but I'm solely watching this for Lu Ke and Zhang Mang, Shen siyi's love path puts me off...
the best thing about the series was how real the story was, and the last ep hit hard....but at some point the characters got annoying, but they were redeemed soon, and the fact that Xu Yan broke up with her bf in the last ep, according to me was the right way to go, just because you love someone doesn't mean you need to be together...
gosh, the male lead is such a delight to watch, and their chemistry, out of the world.....but if a love triangle trope comes in, imma lose some interest......plus the side characters and couples, and it all makes it even better, the fact that the ML fell in love with the FL already, almost like love at first site....
am I the only one who had a late realization in comparing Alice in Borderland to Alice in Wonderland, I mean the Hatter, Cards, Hearts.......Huh!?!?and then I see the Alice and Rabbit in the cast......
I just sat the entire day and finished Alice in Borderland, I had only 6 eps left, so I can handle squid game, as long as it does not leave us hanging like Alice in Borderland......
Whenever his father comes into the scene, tears roll down my eyes, it's as though it was coordinated and momentary, I hope I won't cry as much, but 2 eps in and already loving it....
