Last year's biggest disappointment for me, the first 2 hours were a yapping contest and by the last 20 minutes…
Its not a "yapping contest" its real-life events that occured that determined the future of South Korea. You just expected shit to go down in the middle of the movie with guns blazing all around. The tension, the adrenaline, the disappointments, and the awe is what made this movie amazing. This movie has an impact: a country that is in position of political vulnerability is dangerous. After Chun Doo Hwan seized power, the tragic events of the Gwangju Movement took place. Its honestly pathetic how you are shamelessly commenting this.
What a great selection for a favourite drama, but it's my second favourite, lol. I am watching MLN right now;…
MLN is just as a fantastic kdrama like My Mister if not better. Just like My Mister, the struggles, pain, and hardships revolve around the main characters. The dialogue in this kdrama make you truly empathize with the characters, sometimes even realizing you have gone through the same adversity. Each of the three siblings have something they want to be liberate themselves from and from start to finish it was never boring, cliche, or exhuasting. I think both kdramas tackle the idea to not do life alone :)
