It doesn't feel like a whole movie. It feels like the first 15 mins of a movie with no exact goal in mind. The acting was pretty good and some themes explored were SIGNIFICANT but again, not deep.
Donkey-carrot treatment 💀💀💀 ;—;It’s ok fam, let’s enjoy some coffee and try to forget this☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️
haha that's the only way I could explain what this show was. They kept hanging out the hope that this show will turn into something epic and kept us watching only to be disappointed hence the donkey carrot treatment.
I don't know how you did it but the way you just penned every single one of my thoughts I don't even feel like writing a review anymore because you have pretty much said it all. I feel pity that it could have been something epic but internalized misogyny by female writers in the year 2022 is something I did not expect. Even though I do not have any shortage of time watching other stuff, I still feel angry that I have wasted this much time on a show that gave me the donkey-carrot treatment. Thank you for your review; honestly, I am as frustrated as you are.
No, there wasn’t a real explanation about the security guard job. There was a brief scene where he apparently…
To be honest there were a few things that were not explained like why did yae didn't even question anyone about haruimichi after her accident and she came back home? Especially after she saw him in her picture album? But I think those things along with namikis back injury and his sudden recovery was kinda overlooked for the convenience of the plot to move along so that they can wrap it up nicely in 9 episodes? I think the reason he left is because he still feels guilty and does not want to burden yae with recovering her memories because it would come sooner or later if he starts reciprocating. The ending was also rushed.
Yeah better to forgive and move on.
