i don't think i have ever seen a drama couple's love that is this tender, to the point it hurts yet also healing, if that makes sense. sima jiao and ting yan's love makes the heart flutter and ache at the same time, painful and beautiful in the same breath. this series just gets better and better.

this drama is seriously so addicting...i keep rewatching the previous episodes and also watch fanmade or bts clips while waiting for new eps. love sima jiao and ting yan 💕

i think from now on whenever i hear thunder, i will think of that epic thunder tribulation scene, of how sima jiao look so good taking on the lightning/thunder for the girl he loves. who knew thunder can be romantic?

this is so heartwarming. ting yan is so sweet. you can see how jiao jiao felt moved by her words, words that make him feel safe and just so healing 💕 btw that dream tapir pillow sounds lovely.

ok the way sima jiao gently grabbed ting yan waist and pulled her to him, the way he looks at her, the way his voice sounds deep and sexy and especially the whisper when he said "i can guess," the way they kiss.... 🔥🔥💕

i loove it when the ML is actually powerful and being steps ahead of the villains. it is just soo satisfying to watch.

sima jiao was in serious, deep thought when out of sudden SNOREEE 😂 the look on his face, he was so genuinely offended. he wakes ting yan up and glares at her and she STILL falls asleep 🤣🤣 they crack me up haha

the first 4 episodes were good, hopefully it continues. i especially love the scene in ep. 4 where FL makes it snow for the ML. you can see the ML's expression shift from kind of frowning/pouting to a faint smile, probably the first time he experienced a moment like this, gentle and calming. you can also see the FL's attitude towards ML shifting from being his walking a/c for survival to using the cultivation gift, not for herself, but to cheer him up, to comfort him. it was a very simple moment btw the two but i think one that carries so much meaning.

Ji Yun was so cool, calm, and confident the way she handled the deluxe line crisis. i was like she is so cool and then in the next scene she has me laughing with her opening the wrong door, and the car doesn't even look similar lolllll. and the way she dropped her head onto the couch and pretending she was sleeping, so funny cute.

when Eun Ho said to Ji Yun, "good job, you did very well." such simple words and yet it was just everything.

haha she did look very cool, captivating.

the scene of FL's gothic witch walk was nicely done. it symbolizes how the townspeople view her. even though she was just walking normally with appropriate face expression, in their eyes she transformed into a sinister witch smirking, ready to stir up trouble. it really gives you a glimpse of what she endured growing up in this small town.

yess he must have some time traveling magic, that would make sense

when it comes to food Eun Ho does not play lolll. he made that ramen look sooo tasty and delicious. the mini date at the convenience store was nice and sweet.

Eun Ho calming himself down by eating sweets and the way he asks for lots of cream for his chocolate drink is so relatable and cute lolll

i am enjoying this drama so far, i actually feel myself relaxing as i'm watching it, it's a chill/carefree vibe, it makes you wanna slow down and really appreciate the city, the characters, the story, the romance.

also just found out the director is the same as Fake it til you Make it, which i liked.
