Ji Yun was so cool, calm, and confident the way she handled the deluxe line crisis. i was like she is so cool and then in the next scene she has me laughing with her opening the wrong door, and the car doesn't even look similar lolllll. and the way she dropped her head onto the couch and pretending she was sleeping, so funny cute.
the scene of FL's gothic witch walk was nicely done. it symbolizes how the townspeople view her. even though she was just walking normally with appropriate face expression, in their eyes she transformed into a sinister witch smirking, ready to stir up trouble. it really gives you a glimpse of what she endured growing up in this small town.
when it comes to food Eun Ho does not play lolll. he made that ramen look sooo tasty and delicious. the mini date at the convenience store was nice and sweet.
i am enjoying this drama so far, i actually feel myself relaxing as i'm watching it, it's a chill/carefree vibe, it makes you wanna slow down and really appreciate the city, the characters, the story, the romance.
also just found out the director is the same as Fake it til you Make it, which i liked.
Out of all the three main female leads, she is the only one who isn't toxic or overbearing but is soft and fragile.
this is probably an unpopular opinion but i see the FL more as a flawed character with certain unhealthy behaviors. but i can understand why she may be seen as toxic. As for the 2FL, i agree she is a bit overbearing, she is too hot-headed.
I feel for SQ. She has always struggled with low self-esteem, making it hard for her to believe that HSY could genuinely like her. So when something happens that seems to confirm her fears or insecurities, like their recent misunderstanding, she doesn’t question it—she automatically accepts it as "proof" of her worst fears. Her ex-husband repeatedly made her feel worthless, abusing her both physically and emotionally. That trauma likely affects how she handles conflict and emotional situations now. Her instinct to avoid confrontation or assume the worst is probably a defense mechanism she developed to protect herself. In her mind, it might feel safer to leave than risk getting hurt again, even if it means sabotaging her own happiness. I really hope she can heal from her past and eventually find the confidence she deserves.
