why does joon have to like jihwa? she's so evil... i haven't found any reason to see anything likable about her. sure, joon probably thinks she's that different, hard-to-please, a challenge kind of girl, but SHES SO RUDE TO HIM TOO. she abuses her servant and the orabeoni, manipulative af, everything that fulfills the role of the evil female antagonist. i hope we get more nice scenes where she's actually just a troubled girl having to see up to the expectations of her sus father and she learns to be loving because joon doesn't deserve to be unloved.
She should be able to do whatever she wants! I'm already tired with her over how much she has to do to help the 'main leads' fall in love. It's frustrating, and I for real need more scenes with her and no. 13 where they actually interact. looking forward to it.
Just saw the yt trailer on tencent video and omg, it looks way better, i hope we get less plot twists and more romance and less evil mothers i need dylan xiong cute romantic scenes
I honestly can't watch anymore after episode 29. I was waiting for some development in both Ansheng and Qiyue, but it feels bland. Ansheng never stops sacrificing herself for Qiyue and does a lot to become the independent woman that her mom wants and for herself, but I only see it as a distraction, because she's used to taking the step back. It's so toxic and she doesn't realize it. For Qiyue, I can't really say I like her at all. I try not to be biased, but her character doesn't allow me to like her. She's quite irrational and manipulative, but in a quiet, damsel-in-distress way. This drama is about friendship, but it's completely one-sided with Ansheng being the overshadowed one and always helping her. Don't waste your time on this, please. There is little to no romance, and no chemistry between Qiyue x Jiaming or Qiyue x Handong. I was rooting for Jiaming and Ansheng since I actually felt sparks for them, but of course that was thrown into the trash, because Jiaming (as of episode 29) loooves Qiyue. As for Handong, it only feels like an infatuation... because it seemed way to fast for him to like her.
Started this drama today and I am on episode 9. So far, most comments I read about this drama are about how frustrating the drama. Still going to power through because it's been a while since DX came out in a drama. I don't want to admit it, but as each episode progresses, the friendship/bond the girls share gets more thinned, if that makes sense. There's not much depth or value. I'm hoping it gets better. I can already see this drama heading for a sad ending. It just screams 'cdramas with a sad ending' from the plot so far...

Yes, I recommend being patient with it and having an open mind to analyze the dragged out parts if you're up for it. A lot times, I find this helped me like the drama even more. For example, Man Weol's story - it's worth the extra thought.
