But it’s unfair for the entire artist pool from the agency to be blacklisted. They didn’t do anything. Hopefully this comedian will resurface soon. China is not by any measure a nice place to be.

I have no clue who uncle roger is.
But I get the fear, I feel the same for several actors.

I hope that the artists from that agency won’t be penalized like it looked like they would on Sunday.
It’s China so i won’t be surprised by anything but it’s still annoying.

I think we all were looking forward to a lot of shows and all of them are being affected by this.

No. They are very much obliged to follow Chinese rules. Word of honor and love 020 are not Netflix originals. They were acquired. There are hardly any Chinese shows that are genuinely originals.

A comedian made fun of the military earlier in the week. His/her agency is being blamed. All their artists are blacklisted.
Two from seven lost lives have already been removed from billing on the official account.
Most shows that are currently airing are paused. I know back from the brink announced they will go on but heart production for example is pausing.
This is going to halt everything. Makes a subscription to iQIYI and WeTV useless.

Some artist made a joke about the military. His/her company has been blacklisted including all its artists.
All appearances form artists from the agency must be removed from variety shows.
All upcoming shows are being postponed. Those that are airing should not be asvertised.
All shows that have received a licence must go through review again

Don’t know who the artist is or the agency. And for summer all shows must be patriotic. The upcoming months are going to be dull unless the international platforms release them anyways but I don’t see how this is possible.

I don’t know which agency is concerned but I hope it’s not hanyu not because I like it but because most of the actors I like hail from it and that would mean they’re all black listed.

There seems to be a major upheaval in the industry. Everything is going to be postponed and no marketing from now on. Not entirely sure what has gotten into them this time.

True. But in between China has totally reversed its position on COVID. I hope it’ll mitigate the issue.

At the same time, they didn’t take down the trailer for accidentally in love with Xu kaicheng despite the stupid scandal. So not entirely sure this is a good way of measuring it.

I don’t know. The rumor was there were people criticizing the relationship between yang mi and Xu kai in the show. The way he would embrace her (because she was a mother) and also too many kisses. Which was so stupid. We don’t really know the real reason. I wonder what was the reason for pulling blooming days earlier this week as well.
