what a let down
[adele voice] we could have had it all.the script was poorly written front to back. the omegaverse of it all could have been so incredible if they'd opted in to showing us how it all worked instead of telling us in long overdrawn expositional scenes between main characters.
there was no character growth for any of the characters and, indeed, nakhun didn't have a character at all.
what I will say is that boatoat did their very best, the nc scenes were on point (if a bit egregious at times), and we finally got a real live-action omegaverse series (but at what cost).

a chemistry lead dark romance that fizzles as it burns
there's a lot to enjoy about this show. it's sexy, intense, curious, and doesn't hold back on the melodrama (which I tend to enjoy in a bl). I had a lot of fun watching it as it aired, I grooved to the main theme every single week, and I fell in love with tee and heng.however...
as much as I wanted to REALLY love this show, it felt at times like they didn't fully want to commit to the 'red flag' character being a red flag and that just left us with a boring premise. as much as the actors did their best to make the script work, there wasn't enough bite to the story for them to really sink their teeth into these characters.
there were a few odious directorial/editing mistakes sprinkled throughout which can really catch you off guard while watching and they drove me crazy - even more so the use of generative ai. we cannot start normalising gen ai in our bl's, we just can't.
I doubt I'd rewatch this show but I would recommend it to someone looking for something a little different, with the caveat that it's not as well written as it could have been
