i just actually read the synopsis and taeyong and junghyun (the first 2 episodes didn't tease those two at all lmao) ??? im actullay happy asl about that idgaf about yalls 'top and bottom' discourse give me leo and sunshine boy
Owh and To My Star (a bit).first season.second season was too much and too confusing for me
i loved tms (second and first season) and i get wym with a bit in s1 however i think hwang da seul's style of direction is very unique and tms has a lot of different 'looks' because if it including the typical kdrama. i understand u tho :)
this is the first kbl i would say is very 'kdrama' in the way its filmed/set out. a lot of the other kbls dont have the budget for that and if they do they usually choose a different way of direction than the usual 'kdrama' look. im not sure if anyone will understand what i mean but its interesting to see a kbl like this
I'm guessing when Leo and Jung Hyun started filming the director didn't see the chemistry, then they cast Karam…
or maybe it was just written in the show lmao creating a show takes a lot of time and effort and adding someone to the cast/changing the whole plot is not something done on a whim. cheistry is tested before filming starts too
Yes, the show was fresh and funny. However, the characters had expressed that they were gay twice and thus it…
i understand its jarring that they had little actually romantic moments however (as i said to the other reply) i don't think the 'point' of this drama was romance but showing the characters & their problems and how they continuted to overcome said problems (e.g mamochii's inferority complex). and yes ik its possible to to have that and intimacy in any form but ig the writers didn't think it was necessary (i hope this doesnt come across as rude im sorry if it doesfhdj)
How did no kissing, no cheek stroking, no meaningful exchanges of long gazes, and God forbid no sex, add to the…
was any of that really necessary in this drama though ? imo the 'point' wasn't to show romance but show the development of the characters as seperate people and their development together, not as a romantic relationship
this drama was so so cute im gonna miss it so much :( i think a lot of the 'but theres no kisses/skinship!!!!' discourse is being over dramatic though lmao. i understand the pov that it's extremely wrong if it's to stop homophobes from getting rowdy however im almost 100% sure that this is not the case for this series. the manga it was adapted from was written by a gay man and he even had a small cameo in this drama, i doubt he would allow anything that was done with the intentions of appeasing anti lgbtq+ individuals to happen.
i know its hard to accept for some people but sometimes no kissing/physical intimacy is okay and adds more meaning to the story. like there isn't some huge reason behind it or a big conspiracy that the peole who produced this show are against showing lgbtq+ in a very open way. having little physical touch may be the way a drama is meant to be and it really isn't that big of a deal. (again when it does come from a homophobic place it is of course a big deal)
Am I the only one who thinks Tsubasa resembles Kiyoi from "My Beautiful Man"? It's not a precise resemblance,…
i had this impression from episode 1! his character in general reminded me a lot of kiyoi from the hairstyle to the mannerisms. sometimes he would say certain words in the exact way/voice kiyoi did in mbm
30 minutes in i absolutely adore the direction/cinematography. i find the visuals/the background noise very visually & orally pleasing, it creates the atmosphere of the story really well
there is someone further down who talked about it but i dont think they will anymore
im sorry if i sounded desperate or as if i was pressuring you (ive been waiting for this movie for a while and really wanna watch it i didnt mean titcome across that way <3) ! please dont worry if its not perfect or anything thank you for even attempting it at all like god bless u fr . you dont have to upload it if you don't feel comfortable
