DAMN AHN GO EUN!!!! WHY ARE YOU SO GOOD?! PYO YE JIN let's just do action movies! ?! Her tone during Go Eun's…
Yeah, her tone and facial expressions completely changed! Loved it! I wanted to see more of Go Eun undercover since Pyo Ye Jin is so talented. Been a fan since I first saw her in VIP. Hope to see more of her brilliant acting in the future ♥️
After watching well over a hundred dramas, this remains my favourite series. Each season has its own strengths and flaws, and I enjoyed every minute. I’ve grown deeply attached to the Rainbow Five over the years. I’m sad it’s ending, but I’m already greedy for more. The final episode airs today. If you’ve been waiting to binge Season 3, now’s the perfect time! I may add episode reviews after a rewatch.
I was so touched by the oppa's speech. Watching him tear up as he recalled the difficult and lonely days, but…
Same here. When he thanked his castmates by name and talked about how they cheered him on, waited for him, and supported him — saying he could stand there because of them — it really got to me. You could feel how genuine and sincere that bond is.
For anyone who wants to watch clips from tonight’s 2025 SBS Drama Awards, here are some highlights from Taxi Driver 3 and the cast (no English subs yet) -
HE DID IT!!! Lee Je Hoon just won the 2025 SBS Daesang (Grand Prize) solo 🏆♥️ I was rooting for him so hard! He has worked tirelessly and delivered an incredible performance across all three seasons. Huge congratulations and so much love to him!! He gave a lovely speech and was visibly emotional while mentioning his castmates. Here's the link (no subs yet, sorry) :
Fun fact— Lee Je Hoon was the 2023 SBS Daesang winner (for Taxi Driver 2), so he presented the Grand Prize to Jang Nara in 2024. This year, the honor came full circle when she presented it to him ♥️
just came across the fact that go eun character was supposed to be played by lee na eun but she got replaced by…
Yeah, they had to reshoot a big chunk of Season 1 after the recast — it’s mentioned on Wikipedia too. I’m sure it must’ve been a tight schedule and a lot of pressure for Pyo Ye Jin, but I’m so glad she got the role. I honestly can’t imagine the series without her now!
Late to write this, but Episode 4 was hilarious and so satisfying! Lee Je Hoon even nails comedy brilliantly! The costumes were on point, and the scene transitions were seamless. The villain was super scary — Yoon Shi Yoon absolutely owned those dead, ruthless eyes. Ngl, if a guy like that tried selling me a car, I’d run for the hills 😂
I couldn’t stop laughing at the villains’ flustered expressions when the taxi outpaced their supercars — glad they got a taste of their own medicine in the end! Can’t wait for Episode 5 tonight.
Also, who are these jobless haters giving low ratings for episodes that haven’t even released!? Ugh.
Episode 3 was also very well done! Sad how people can take advantage of others and feed on their fear and ignorance of the law. The villain this time looks super evil — the actor is doing a fantastic job.
Also, can we talk about how Kim Do Gi beat those thugs up with only his legs? Bro didn’t even bother using his hands 😂 His kicks have seriously upgraded! Reminds me of that scene in S1 where he beat the road-rage drivers with his left hand only!
The Do Gi–Go Eun moments were such a highlight. He clearly went out of his way to drive her when he probably wasn’t even on duty, waited for her, congratulated her, and let her drive him back ♥️ Bro was smiling and totally whipped but I don’t think he realises it 😂 I want my ship to leave the harbour soon — their scenes feel natural, warm, and so sweet, but they don't take away from the story.
The new disguise looks hilarious, and I can’t wait to watch Episode 4 today! 🙌🏻
It's officially final season as writer said it. I feel sad when this ends.
There’s no point discussing it, I guess. We’ll just have to wait and see. Let’s just enjoy Season 3 in the meantime. Personally, I really want a Season 4, so I’m not losing hope~

There hasn’t been any official statement from SBS yet, so let’s not jump to conclusions. The “last season” talk was just the director sharing his personal thoughts while directing, not an official announcement. If we love the show, the best thing we can do is watch and support it online — the rest will follow👍🏻
can I watch this season without season 2? as I have only seen the 1st
Sure you can! S1 has the major backstory. S2 is a continuation and deepening of their teamwork and bonds. You could go back and watch S2 after S3 if you wish (highly recommend that!).
Lee Je Hoon is an absolute freakin’ legend! No one could have done it better. The action in Episode 2 was so well-executed and fluid — he makes it look effortless when it’s clearly not. He’s worked so hard, and he deserves all the love and praise for his performance.
The chemistry and bromance between Matsuda and Do Gi was so good that I almost forgot Matsuda was an inhumane monster. Almost. But wow, Do Gi was absolutely brutal this episode — zero hesitation, zero mercy!
The tone was serious, but the subtle humour landed perfectly. Another strong, fabulous episode. Also, Woosung's Driver OST is a total jam! Can’t wait for Episode 3!
I would recommend watching season 1, just to get some background on the main characters and to understand them and their motives better. It would also help you really get into the series. But technically, yes, you can watch Season 3 as a standalone. S1 and S2 are both great so you can also go back and watch them at your convenience. It's your choice, tbh.
THEY'RE BACK!! I was refreshing Viki nonstop and watched Episode 1 the moment it dropped. I loved every second of it and actually squealed when the opening theme started. You can really feel the hard work of the cast and crew — especially Lee Je-hoon. The action is sharp, satisfying and on point.
Go Eun going undercover was a highlight for me — total girl boss energy! It was endearing how the whole crew was watching over her. And I loved how Do Gi ran without hesitation when it came to her safety (even though she clearly didn’t need the help lol).
Overall, a very strong start to my favourite drama. The chemistry and teamwork of the Rainbow 5 feels better than ever, and I’m glad the whole team is backing Do Gi up in Japan. Can’t wait for Episode 2 tomorrow! Also, whoever rated this drama 5.1 is cooked bcuz it's a solid 10 for me!”
