This was good enough to where i wanted to finish it, & like slow and calm and quiet…..but really shouldve ended at ep 12 or 14. i was getting really bored. they tied off a lot of the characters, but not really??? like suddenly all these time jumps or changes & a build up to nothing. idk overall it was actually quite boring. but i mostly was in the mood for that, and like i said still good enough to keep watching. but i would never rewatch it, which is a big sign that i didnt like it. i also probably would not recommend this one, to like anyone. unless they asked for a slow boring show. idk i saw some comments say it gave a misaeng feel, and i wish it did. misaeng had my whole family wrapped around its finger, touched our hearts and felt so uplifting at the end too. & had deep characters we all felt for. Blackdog, ALMOST hits that mark where the story was boring but you do get a liking to a lot of the characters, or some of them have depth & i really did like, but a good chunk didnt or it was clear they tried but didnt finish their story or arc. or thought they were deep enough but didnt quite get there. or ! would create an arc and suddenly the character was gone, written off the show… why did several have so much screentime, to just…. have no more to the story? what was the point? Frankly i liked the two guy teachers in the group, more than the two women who i think were supposed to be the more main characters? but its like they forgot to write in some things & just assumed i would like them bc they are the main character. It got on me and my mom’s nerves the main girl Go Sky ALWAYS answered everything everyone said to her with “ne?” no matter the context or how long this person just said something to her… just a confused look on her face & “yes?/pardon?” Parts were touching or sweet. i liked when she worked it out with the girl teacher no one wanted to work with. I liked two kids who were at the top of their class, their storyline arc was good. yeah good bits and pieces that kept me going but overall missed the mark.
It's rare but I couldn't pass ep 1 it was too boring for me
first 30 minutes were boring, the first episode ended just enough for me to try more. really glad i did. it was fluffy and sweet and i loved all the characters
I'm really starting to feel bad for Korean men when I see this type of show become popular. What a nightmare.
Have you met any korean men in real life? you should be feeling bad for korean woman. Because guys are the same as guys everywhere else, and they dont act sweet like they do in kdramas.
I have just start this drama and I think so far it is good. But I want to ask a serious question, very important…
I dont think it was too much at all, the show ends up making fun of love triangles basically. i thought it was well written. i liked the “bad boy” he was nice and joined their friend group and even the main boy and him become friends quickly. I really enjoyed it. And she doesnt really show him any romantic interest, sooooo idk what you mean about her liking a bad boy. she doesnt, but she is friends with him.
i didnt have good expectations from this drama at all, and netflix kdramas tend to disappoint and bore me usually, but im so so glad i gave it a shot. my parents, sister and i ALL loved this drama. idk it was the right amount of humor for us, some parts were predictable and that didnt even annoy me, i thought all the characters were well written and deep enough, loved the parts where they made fun of love triangles basically. We really adored these characters and they were quite funny. Really wholesome and enjoyable. i was grinning like an idiot every night, really sweet cute things. totally unexpected. Love the little Found Family. (way way better written than popular ones like Attorney Woo or 2521 in my opinion. those were scatter written by too many people, werent congruent, and had too many characters that werent deep enough, all felt fake and bland. or felt like a different writer started writing for the last few episodes, completely changing things, didnt know the characters or their growth. They just felt strange and offputting to me. THIS show tho did NOT bother me whatsoever, & i was even waiting for it. Really wholesome and fun to watch, i plan on rewatching it even. Has a lot of characters but everything is wrapped up nicely, satisfyingly. Things get resolved and happy endings. or fair endings for others. Good character growth. ) i was cheering along with them all. Sad to see it end. I dont know what show to watch next.
Played the first episode with my family last night, wanting a nice funny comedy but was hit with an excessive amount of F-words & words that sound like the F-word in korean. like truly excessive amount. uncomfortable & my parents hate that. dont know if i should bother continuing on. If you can only write something that is “funny” but only can use bad language and sex jokes constantly, you arent actually funny. just trying to appeal to people who like bad language & sex jokes.
He didn't follow her around for no good reason, she had saved his life as a kid and he had promised he would protect…
his storyline is fine. of course. its written that he is perfect & cleans and cooks and protects her, duh who isnt going to like him?? SHE is written AWFUL. like its supposed to make us woman be like we can be truley awful and mean and self centered but the most perfect boy will fall at our feet & do whatever for us. She was so offputting. and so was the hot and cold she would do. & so was the age gap. high schooler. gross. while she was a self centered lawyer who didnt help her clients….real cute look
I finished yesterday and I'm going through the comments and I can't believe how many of them say " It's my fav…
ppffffft ur comparing it business proposal? i mean i like that one but its new, a netflix drama so thats a whole other can of worms, and it was pretty basic. At least this story was original and deep
give up now, im watching w my sister and mom & im almost to the last episode & it didnt get any better
oh wow thank u for telling me i was gonna try that movie after!!! 😬 (i do like the shows One Spring Night, & Something in the Rain tho, both can be slow too but those worked for me anyway..)
I was hooked so fast, I LOVE the main character like i havent felt that attached to a character in a hot minute & im obsessed. So unlike the average loud angry cop characters you usually see. He is so introverted and endearing
Parts were touching or sweet. i liked when she worked it out with the girl teacher no one wanted to work with. I liked two kids who were at the top of their class, their storyline arc was good. yeah good bits and pieces that kept me going but overall missed the mark.
